A Quote

The other day I decided to go for food in Kepong and in my fortune cookie it says this.

"Your cheerful outlook is one of your assets"

I asked my friend to verify if it is true and my friend told me yeah its true and its you. So, in your opinion does my cheerful outlook brings joy to people? Is it one of my assets too?

Sing Song

My friend called me the other day and since my friend didnt get to hear my vocals before, I decided to give my friend a taste of "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" which I think might have shocked my friend a little bit. My friends remarks were "it was nice as you have your own style"

Another friend of mine called me the other day when I was doing my PnP and since I was quite sick of doing my PnP, I decided to give my own version of Through It All, and honest after the song I felt a bit better. I think my friend found it interesting too :P But my friend did comment on my vocals in this blog so check it out some where :P

I Like This Picture

Liz Hie, thanks for letting me take this picture. I really like it the 1st time I saw it. Its so clean and there are so many trees with different colors. I believe this is autumn. Now I wish our country got Autumn too. I don't really care about the cold, but I wish to see all the leaves change color, drop and regrow once again. I wish in our country we will have the same park like what they have and that we can lie down on the CLEAN grass (hope hope) and just stare into the sky.

Weird Dream + Update

Anyway I didn't finish my PnP. I decided that if I didn't put it in, they wont know either. So that is what I did. I didn't put it in together with my work. The visitors did come and boy they really ask us a lot of questions and some of the things we don't even have but they say that they have. Its all lies. I know people lie to get business but I believe it is not the way. Anyway the visitors came at around 5pm when they were suppose to be there are around 230pm. I guess things are ok, but the amount of work coming after me is A LOT.

I had a weird dream the other day. It was quite scarry to me. I was sleeping and I believe the dream was fighting with something and I was on the ground and the thing decided to hit my lower back and honest I felt my nerves reacting to the hit. My body was hit twice and I really could feel it. When I was hit the 2nd time, I was awake and my nerves like send electric shock to my whole body and I was scared. I was like 'wat on earth'. I got back to sleep after that shock but till today it will not leave my head on what has already happen.

Work Madness

After working 1 half months in SL, I had no complains but today I have. My boss called me up for meeting at 930am with Mr Ng in KPMG and we headed there to find out that we will be having visitors tmr. There was a lot of things needed to be done and to be put in place. We manage to cope and the best part was my boss ask me to do the PnP (policy and procedure) and get it ready by the next day. Not only that, he told us the season parking is not for us and it is for TOP MGMT people only.

Honest after hearing about the parking Mr Ng & I just lost our mood. We really don't understand why does the top mgmt people need the parking as they are not in the DC all the time. Its only people who work there need the parking. Now we don't have any choice but to source out another parking place which will not cost us so much. We found a few with is quite far from office and that is really total ridiculous. Not only that, the PnP that was given to me today needed to be done by tomorrow and honest I am so tired now. My brains cannot think and I can't focus anymore. Lets see how it goes tomorrow. One thing for sure I can't finish my work and lets see what the consequences are. Boss is nuts? yeah he is, but what to do? He give us last minute and we will only do what we can.

It seems other people are starting to bully us already. Those programmers and others let me warn you once again, we can do things to make you really suffer. So please don't make any unwanted trouble for both sides yeah. You have been warn once, now is the 2nd time.

Good Show

The other day I was watching the Green Mile. That show really have many stuff that you can really grab from its values. Actually some part of the show brought tears to my eyes as it is really sad show. The big guy who is actually a good guy kept on helping different people with his skills that was given to him. Actually looking at our real life, we don't have to have special skills to help people but it is all about being able to give our time, heart or etc to actually help people. Like once my Pastor say, just try to do 1 thing to bless someone in a week (can be anything). Actually it is really good to try to bless / help people and do try to bless someone this week.

Things Are So Expensive Now

Things are really expensive now. Food has really gone up sky high and I don't even know how will people will be able to afford to buy food now. The other day when I was in Tesco, I decided to really get some food stuff for my home. I manage to get eggs, 2 tubs of icecream, 2 packets of biscuits, 3 packets of sausage and 1 tin of biscuits and all those items cost me rm50. It seems like money has lost its worth. Not only that, when I was walking by those fizzy drinks, my eyes caught coke and when I saw the price, I was telling myself it will forever be water from now. Since inflation is so high, I don't know how people will be able to pull thru. I know I have read in the newspapers saying parents have to buy less with the same amount of money and they really have to ikat perut. I know what is it like now. Those were the days (diploma days) with rm50 I still can shop till I drop and I can really store all the food in my place and even eat for a long long time. So all I can say, spend wisely on the things that you need to purchase.

Something Funny

The other day after lunch (Friday), when we were walking back to KPMG tower to head back to office in PJ, we had to pass Italianniese and standing out there were 2 pretty girls. And I turn to my boss and say, crap we should eat here. Then my boss say here food very expensive and we need to pay for that (the pretty girls salary and their looks and service) and I started to laugh and he also started to laugh. We pass the shop and still continue to laugh. But I have to say those girls were pretty, don't believe me? check them out :P

I Am Funny (Proven)

The other day when I was driving home with my boss, I was cracking some jokes and he was laughing like non stop. Many times he laugh at my jokes (thank God he understands my joke or else I will feel so stupid :P ). He told me this 'You are So Funny'. He told me that twice last week. I guess I really have the talent to make people laugh and I know that I have already make people who feel really down smile once again and I WILL CONTINUE to do it as I believe it is a gift from Up There. I am going to touch people's life with what I can do.

There are not many people who still don't get my joke. The other day I was trying to be funny with someone but the joke was backfired as the person didn't get what I am trying to say. Sad to say just when I was trying to entertain someone but just that they didn't get it, the miss it all out.

Too Much

I don't understand how people who attend meetings end up with having different stories and understanding of each other. The best part is when they have meeting with client, Mr Ng and I will never ever be in the loop and we will receive some call from some fella telling us to do this and that. Today as I was in PJ then I head to 1U with Mr Ng to have a meeting there. At the same time those programmers were calling us once again for this and that. Most of the things that was given to them was told to them upfront and they can tell us some of the stuff we provided them with they could just easily forget (example user name and password).

Not only that, after the meeting in 1U, we had lunch and we had to go back to office to do some testing. Then here comes those smart programmers starting to call my boss and telling us 1 story. Then it was the client calling us to tell us another story and then our direct boss who leads us telling us another story. Honest both of us were really piss off as they don't know what they want (especially programmers) and they think that it is so easy to change here and there to suit their needs. I really felt the starting pressure during the meeting as they keep on wanting to rush last minute things for me and Mr Ng to do. There are some things when they rush us we can perform but there are somethings we cannot do and the best is the programmers say its easy. If it is so easy why don't you guys do it? It is really not fair to Mr Ng & I as we are the only experience people there and we have the rest who just came in don't know anything about it and the trainee is still blur on the scope.

Honest I feel those programmers are really making us look like fools. But guess what programmers? NEVER EVER PISS OF AN SA. That is my words to you. You will never know what we can truly do to you. We can always do magic that you will I promise you this, REGRET. Know YOUR LINE, and don't you ever dare to step on our border. That goes to you LION, AUNTY, DANIEL, WK and the whole gang of dumb programmers. Don't you guys come sending us rude emails showing your power. Your power and knowledge is just PeAnUtS.

Camera

Well a friend of mine asked me how good is my k810i cam? The pictures are as below. It was actually taken yesterday when 4 of the dream team ate and drank and enjoyed ourself to ss2 stall food. It was really cool to talk with them. Thanks Guys for coming. It was a good makan time yesterday. Those who makan together Mr Ng, Allen, Jack and I

True Story

On Tuesday I attended church evening prayer for my zone. It was my first time attending this prayer after the zone change prayer coordinator. This time the Pastor is Pastor Chris. When I was there, I don't know anyone except Dennis and Michael. I didnt see any other people that are quite familiar to me (other cg people(my own cg or other cg)). I was then quite discourage. That was the truth.

But the start of the prayer was good as Pr Chris ask us to pray a prayer of blessing for the next person and this is a picture that was shared to me by Mike.

'I see a jug / jar on top of a table and you are that jar. And God is actually watering you till the water overflow from the jar and the overflowing will touch the people around you and you will be a great blessing to those around you. You will also heal people around you '

At that time I teared straight away. As my name is Jason and the meaning is 'Healer' I believe I got to do a lot of healing :P After that Pr Chris shared a short message and got the Prayer Sec to stand up and those around them are to surround them and pray for them or give them a word / picture they see.

My 1st Word was from a Lai Ling. Her word is this

'At times when you feel there is no 1 standing with you, don't be discourage continue on the race as God is there to help you. Continue to pray Unceasingly'

Her word really brought life to me. I just teared because I know I play an important role (Pastor Chris say so) for the cg and also the zone. Her word really touch me as I was discourage when I saw no 1 I know over there...

Next was Mike and he shared with me Psalm 1-4

1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Mike then prayed for me and I knew I will still have to carry on this task by praying for people, nation or other things which matters. Because when things which are physical we cannot do anything and when we pray, God will do something in the supernatural. I was really encourage by their word and also bible verse. Thanks Mike and Lai Ling. I know why I was there was not a fluke but it was meant to encourage me once again.

Job Offer

Even when I have started to work in my new company, offers still come in to me and asking me if I want to join their company. I have a friend who ask me to join them in company A and another vendor that I work before asked me to join them as a vendor. When I just started my 2nd week in Silverlake, another company called me to join them.

Now the thing is should I be happy at where I am? I guess I should. I mean things are really good in the new company even though things are really slow as we are a new setup. But I still remember that I posted that I want to make this place the best place I can learn and pickup what I am really lacking. I will do my best in the current job that I am on now.

Like I have thank God many times, this job is so near my house (15mins away), food is a plenty to choose from (yet we still don't know what to eat), its Monday till Friday till 530pm and we don't have to stay back to do overtime except when the programmers are there we will have to stay a little longer. I guess one thing is for sure, I need to learn how to be happy with what I have now coz all blessings come from God.

So Much To Eat

Saturday was a good day for me. Had 2 rounds of makan session in a single night. The 1st round was my sisters friends house warming. Food there was extremely good and all the food was cook by my sister's friends mother. The food was extremely good. The fried chicken tasted so different from any other type of friend chicken I ever tasted and it was TASTY. We had prawns, fried rice, noodles, fish, curry chicken, dessert, kuih and many more. I went for 2 rounds as I was really hungry and I was really well fed in my sisters friends house.

After that was satay celup in KJ. It was my sisters friends birthday party. By this time I was tired and very full but I had some fish ball and sotong. The only thing that was missing out was the peanut sauce just like what they have in Melaka. But food was good. Since it was a birthday party, the family decided to buy 5 types of cakes. It was all the mini cakes and they really bought different types of varieties. Decided to skip the cakes as I was extremely full.

So how was Saturday? A good day to enjoy :)

Weird Comments

The other day when I was having dinner with some other people, they were saying this. I think this kid drinks more of our house water as it is filtered and the water taste better. I was like 'is your brains some where that you can think till like that'? In my house I filter the water twice, main source then when it comes it it gets filtered again before I boil my water. I don't think it is the amount of times it is filtered, but I have to say the more you filter the cleaner the water will be (from rust, dirt and etc) and I think (might be wrong) there will be less minerals in the water.

I think water is just water, and if you filter it more or you use different filter your water will NOT be any sweater or etc. I might be wrong, so if you have any concept / experience about water please do tell me about it.

Stupid Cats

Today when I open my house door I saw a cat sitting on my parents car. Not only that due to panic, the cat really ran like Nobita (Doraemon Comic). The leg really was like spinning and due to its spinning legs, it scratch the roof of my car quite a lot. I was so piss off. To all cats, hear me clear, I promise if I get anyone of you in my hands, I promise that you will really die. I have so many plans to make u pay back for all the things that you have done to me.

Not Sure Of Title

Boy I am really piss off with the cats that is staying behind my house. They knock my grill and cause my alarm to ring at 2am yesterday. The other day it was at 330am. Not only that, I don't have my season pass for my parking yet. Now I don't really like the programmers that come to my side and ask me weird questions about their applications which I have no idea off.

I wish I can do this to the cat, person in charge of my season ticket and those programmers

Good Stuff

Was listening to Hillsong Acoustic today and boy can those people (guys and girls) really play. All their playing is extremely clean and really clear. Boy I wish I can play like that. Yes I can if I really put my night time (after work) to practice my guitar :)

Waste Of My Time

Darn today I have to wait for the programmers to leave once again. I feel that these programmers who are here don't respect us as they come when they want and they leave when they want. The best thing is they come at 3pm and they go back like 8pm which I have to wait like extra 3 hours DOING NOTHING (even though I got other work, but I don't want to do it.)I can only claim meal allowance after 3 half hours which is only rm15 which is at 830pm and at 9pm I will get rm40. But I don't want the money. It is not worth my time here. Honest I have every right to shoo them off even though they are rushing for their project cause this place is MINE and not your House that you can walk in and out. If you can't finish your project shows how inefficient you are.

Time Really Flies

It was only about 2 Saturday's ago that it was my sisters kid birthday and one week is already down. Time is really flying even faster than I thought it can fly :P Anyway that Saturday was a really pack day for me. I woke up around 9am + then I went to play some guitar and next thing I know thanks to the programmers ONCE AGAIN, they called me and ask me to create a login for them for the server. I was honestly piss cause I didn't want to go to work just to set the login ID. I could have said no but since I have to pick someone out for the party I just went to do it with not so happy heart I can say.

Anyway back to party, food was good, fellowship with my cousins, cg members was good. I guess the lil kid is happy too that so many people turn up for her birthday. After the makan I head to church and at 7pm I was back home. After that I attended another friends birthday party and after the birthday party it was mamak session again. The whole day was gone and by the time I went home it was already midnight. In the end the day was tiring but every second was well used.

Yumcha Session

About 2 weeks ago, I met Min Ser, Charmaine and Guo Jeng in DJ mamak and boy it was really nice to meet them once again as it is like old CF gathering but it is only 4 of us. We were to meet around 8pm but the time was change to 9pm and from there we didn't really have that much time to yack as time really flew extremely fast. All I can say it was worth every second to be there to yack with my friends who were all once working together to serve in the CF

The Wooden Bowl

A frail old woman went to live with her son, daughter-in-law, and 4- year-old grandson.

The old woman's hand trembled, her eyesight was blurred, and her step faltered.

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandmother’s shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off her spoon onto the floor.

When she grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. ‘We must do something about mother,’ said the son.

‘I’ve enough of her spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.’ So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandmother ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandmother had broken a dish or two, her food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandmother’s direction, sometimes she had a tear in her eye as she sat alone.

Still, the only words the couple has for her were sharp admonitions when she dropped a fork or spilled food. The 4-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor.

He asked the child sweetly, ‘What are you making?’ Just as sweetly, the boy responded, ‘Oh, I am making little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.’ The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. The words so struck the parents that they were speechless.

Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took Grandmother’s hand gently led her back to the family table.

For the remainder of her days, she ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

On a positive note, I’ve learned that, no matter what happens, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you will miss them when they are gone from your life. I have learned that making a ‘living’ is not the same thing as making a ‘life’. Sometimes, life gives us a second chance. I have learned that we shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. We need to be able to throw something back.

I have learned that if we pursue happiness, it will elude us. But, if we focus on our family, our friends, the needs of others, our work and doing the very best we can, happinesPublish Posts will find us.

I have learned that whenever I decide on something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. Even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one. I have learned that everyday, we should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

Worst Cancer Causing Foods

There are some foods that people who are at high risk for developing cancer should definitely avoid. Generally, says natural health researcher Mike Adams, they should avoid foods that contain ingredients known to cause cancer, such as refined sugars and grains, hydrogenated oils, and nitrates. But which foods are the absolute worst?

The top five cancer-causing foods are

1. Hot dogs

Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. French fries

Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acrylamides which occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not French fries, said Adams .

3. Doughnuts

Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures. Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise your risk of cancer.

4. Chips, crackers, and cookies

All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of trans-fats.

5. Processed meats and bacon

Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other processed meats raise the risk of heart disease. The saturated fat in bacon also contributes to cancer.

FAMILY

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
'Oh excuse me please' was my reply.

He said, 'Please excuse me too;

I wasn't watching for you.'

We were very polite, this stranger and I.

We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,

How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,

My son stood beside me very still.

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.

'Move out of the way,'
I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.

I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,

God's still small voice came to me and said,

'While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,

You'll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you.

He picked them himself: pink, yellow and
blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,

you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.'

By this time, I felt very small,

And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed;

'Wake up, little one, wake up,' I said.

'Are these the flowers you picked for me?'

He smiled, 'I found 'em, out by the tree.

I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.

I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue.'

I said, 'Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;

I shouldn't have yelled at you that way.'

He said, 'Oh, Mom, that's okay.

I love you anyway.'

I said, 'Son, I love you too,

and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.'

FAMILY

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company

that we are working for could easily replace us in

a matter of days.

But the family we left behind will feel the loss

for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more

into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,

don't you think?

So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?

FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

The Great Message

At a recent class reunion of a small eastern college, many of the students went to the home of one of their favorite professors who had taught all of the students their courses in Psychology. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went into the kitchen and soon returned with a large pot of coffee and an eclectic assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal – some plain, some expensive, some quite exquisite. Quietly he told them to help themselves to some fresh coffee.

When each of his former students had a cup of coffee in hand, the old professor quietly cleared his throat and began to patiently address the small gathering… 'You may have noticed that all of the nicer looking cups were taken first, leaving behind the plainer and cheaper ones. While it is only natural for you to want only the best for yourselves that is actually the source of much of your stress-related problems.' He continued, 'Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In fact, the cup merely disguises or dresses up what we drink.

'What each of you really wanted was coffee, not a cup, but you instinctively went for the best cups…Then you began eyeing each other's cups…
'Now consider this: Life is coffee. Jobs, money and position in society are merely cups. They are just tools to shape and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not truly define or change the quality of the Life we live. Often, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee that God has provided us…God brews the coffee, but He does not supply the cups. Enjoy your coffee!

The happiest people don't have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have…So please remember: Live simply. Love generously. Care Deeply. Speak Kindly. Leave the Rest to God. And remember –the richest person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Thank You Kids

Today I went for my exercise in TTDI park as I wanted a change from running in Bkt Kiara Hill. I reach there like 540pm as it was really hot at 5pm. But there were still many people running and doing all types of stuff in the park. All I can say was the park was FULL of humans at all ages. When I was running, I pass many kids and all those kids are extremely cute and they brought joy to me. It was really fun running as you can see all types of kids doing all types of stuff like playing with soil, the little stream trying to catch fishes, badminton, eating ice cream, cycling and many other stuff.

I still remember till now there is this kid who actually just smiled at me just now and she was just a little girl. I believe she is around 2/3 yrs old and boy ur smile was so cute. I wish I could hug those kids who really brought joy to me today. You guys are the best. You guys don't have anything to worry about. I wish I could be like you guys, just run around, cycling and not needing to worry about anything.

THANKS KIDS! YOU MAKE MY DAY
