Careful: Listing of Names in Your HP

Be careful how you list names on your cell phone! Be Safe!

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile phone, Credit card, purse...etc. ... was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her Hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened. Hubby says ' I ' ve just received your sms text asking about our Pin number. I replied a little while ago. '

They rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text ' hubby ' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

The lesson:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.
Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Sayang......Dad, Mum etc.......
And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you ' re being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don ' t reach them, be very careful about going places to meet ' family and friends ' who text you.

PASS IT ON to people you love!!!!!!!! !

CG Retreat Coming Soon

Yey are the words of my mouth. This week we will be heading towards Fraser's Hill for CG retreat and I am so excited over this trip as I really need a break from work. I have been working from the start of the year till today as after I resign from Aeon, I didn't have any rest at all. Straight into the next Monday I was already starting my new job in SL.

Well I guess retreat will be fun and it will be refreshing and I wish that the retreat will be longer in days as it is only 2days 1 night. But no matter what, I will make sure I am well rested this week and will enjoy my time up there with my cg mates with all the activities that we have and also the most important thing which is to encounter God in a really special way.

So Lord, I pray and ask that you will be so real to us even when we are there, I will take up to do at least 1 worship or if it is 2 also can wan :) Lead me as I lead the rest into a time of worship that you will come sweep us off our feet in a really special way in and that you will have a word of the season for every single one of us in the highlands. Amen

Whose Dream

August Rally Production: Whose Dream

“I have a dream that one day I will be a chef,” says the son.

“I have a dream that one day YOU will be an accountant,” says the father.

The year is 1985. Mr and Mrs Khoo run a successful prawn mee stall in Kepong. They have only one son, Ah Kiang, in whom they put all their hopes. Mr Khoo has put together the ‘perfect’ plan for Ah Kiang to study accounting in Australia. Ah Kiang’s passion, however, is in something completely different and he is determined to pursue it.

‘Whose Dream?’ is a story of clashes of hopes, dreams, family love, gratitude and most importantly, having one’s heart in the right place.

Tiring Week

This whole week from Monday Till Saturday is really a tiring week for me. On Monday I slept at midnite to setup my mum's friend laptop. On Tuesday I slept around 11pm as I have to teach mum friend how to use her laptop. On Wednesday - Friday was Church Evening Prayer that lasted till 10pm + and after parents chat with their friends it was till 1030pm +

Yesterday I had to work and honest work was really tiring. I was there in KL site earlier as I had to prepare to print the checklist and Items needed for the KL site operations (so call leading KL Team) and since I am quite experience with doing setup pc's I know what to do and experience is a good thing as you can lead and you wont be like blur on what is needed to be done there. I was there at 930-7pm yesterday. As there was another 2 person with me, our work was faster but at the same time there were so many small issues that happen like clash of IP address should not have happen as I prepare the whole list of IP add and none of the pc's have the same IP address. Since I was busy drawing the workspace diagram I told the rest on what to be done (follow checklist and others) but some of the job to be done was not done by a person. I even told them to update the windows for security patches and etc but it was not done. This person was always doing mistakes and honest I was not happy with that. Not only that, he told me he wanted to go home at 3pm which I told him yes as I know even at the simple things he can't do better I or the other person do.

Anyway after the guy left at around 4 pm, I was still there doing some checking on my diagram and also checking on the checklist and I had to change the network printer IP address and I found out that many pc's windows were not updated. I then decided to turn on all those pc's that was done by the guy and I started to do the windows update and also Acrobat reader update so there won't be any popup in the future for the computers. I could not finish all but I manage to do at least 12 pc's and on Monday I will redo for the rest of the computers.

I know there will be someone in that will read this blog, but yeah thats the true story that what happen yesterday at KL site.

Food Allowance

As I work yesterday, I manage to earn a little sum of money and that money was well taken care off as I manage to buy my whole family dinner yesterday. The money was more than enough for dinner. Yey ! Thank God for providing for me :)

Prayer Fasting

From Wednesday till Friday it was Prayer and Fasting for DUMC. On the 1st night it was for Personal Renewal, Thursday was Church Renewal and Friday was Church Renewal. Reason why we had this time of prayer and fasting is because the nation is turning upside down now. Seems our dollar and cents is now worth like nothing (as in all things is so expensive). I guess there is a real need for us to pray for our nation so that God can intervene and change our land to become a better land.

Be Kind To One Another

Was driving last couple of days and when people wanted way I give them way (even though I am nearly late to office) as I know there is no end if I rush or the other person rush. Anyway yesterday when I was going home, there was a lorry that was actually blocking my way and another car was on my side. The car could actually decide to go but instead the car stop and gave me way. I guess like people say, if you give way to others, others will give way to you too. It is true, so take some time and give way to people even though you are late. Thanks to the Black MyVi car that gave me way.

Me Recording?

The other when I was chatting with my friend, my friend told me this,
"can you record some of your songs and send it to me so that I can listen to it over and over again?"

My reply was this
"if you hear the albums that I gave you its the same"

Now the thing is, I know worship is special in its own way and if we can hit the right tune (use our type of playing to worship God) its still worship to God. Not only that, we still encounter God as it is the heart of Worship and it depends on our heart. So back to shall I record? Well I will give it a try for a song and see how it sounds like. I wish I have a mini studio so that I can do a clearer recording but never mind my SE K810I will be my recorder :)

Laptop

Yey I got my laptop today. I will be installing it with my own windows and then I will be running a full test on it. Below is the picture of my laptop. Its a Toshiba Laptop :) Not only that, I have to endure crap talks from my mum friend when she bought her laptop as she told me it is a waste of her money. To me is simple, if you can say those words, you don't need to even use the laptop at all since it is a waste of money to you. The she wanted to learn new stuff by asking the sales person questions and even asking me. Some of the questions honest I brush off as the night before (Saturday) she ask me question and after I explain she told me her nephew say if there is no OS they she will need to buy a new set of this and that. Then after that my mum had to answer her questions too as she could not get the concept at all. To me was simple. Don't bother buying laptop and don't use Internet anymore as your complains and questions are endless

Laptop Laptop

Laptop Desktop

But actually the laptop is not mine actually. I had to help my mum friend buy it and I will have to set up A-Z for her before I return it to her. But the 1st time when I set up Vista Ultimate (ORIGINAL Thanks to Microsoft Conference In KLCC) I installed Acrobat Reader 8 which actually crash the whole system and I had to reformat the whole thing once again. I was quite disappointed as I was already quite tired. Not only that, the power died on me after I formatted the laptop and I had to go to TTDI to get the power socket. Anyway after I got back I manage to up everything and I only slept at midnite.

But from this I manage to learn something new. As this laptop is the cheaper version of laptop it does not have drivers I have to download the drivers 1 by 1 and install it for her. Not only that, I even have to do full testing for her before I could even hand her back the laptop. I am considered quite lucky as I have Vista as I don't have any driver for her Sata HDD. With Vista Installation was made easier for me and the best part is this, to format an 80gb HDD took me only 1/2 minutes. How does it happen? I don't know at all. But one thing I know, I cannot claim petrol and mileage for doing all this and my mum don't allow me to be paid :(

Tuesday was a madness day for me as I had to teach her how to use her laptop and teaching her is really hard. Most of the steps are same from before and she told me due to different windows its not the same :( So I had to show her all once again and she say that she never use it for quite some time she forgot how to use it already and even ask me to type back all her email address as she tot once she change computer all her address is gone (which send me nuts). Anyway thank God till today she haven't call me for any support yet. I wish I could earn from professional services and if given a chance to charge her for charges, I will be able to earn nothing less than rm250 (minimum)... *Sigh*

If you are an Ass : A very loyal and sweet person. Your loyalty can never be doubted. You are quite honest and sincere when it comes to your attitude towards working. You are a very simple person, indeed. Absolutely hassle free, humble and down-to-earth!! That explains the reason why your friends cling on to you! You have a good taste for clothes. If your wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, you sure are depressed. Popular and easy-going. You have a little group of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.

If you are a Slug : Always up to some sort of a mischief! The mischievous gleam in your eyes is what makes you so cute and attractive to everyone. You are an extremely fun-to-be-with kind of person. No wonder people seek for your company and look forward to include you for all get-together's. However, you are sensitive which is a drawback. People need to select their words while talking to you. If someone tries to fiddle around and play with words while dealing with you, it is enough to invite your wrath.
God bless the person then!

If you are a Cockroach : Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfully derive work from people. You love being loved, and when you receive your share of limelight from someone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well... hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful.....

If you are a Parasite : An extremely lovable, adorable person, sometimes shy, with a passion for quick wit. At times, you prefer quietness. You love exploring various things and going into depth of each thing. Under normal circumstances you're cool but when given a reason to, you are like a volcano waiting to erupt. You're a fashion bird. People look forward to you as an icon associated with fashion. Basically, you mingle along freely but don't like talking much to strangers. People feel very easy in your company. You observe care in choosing your friends.

If you are a Skunk : You are near to perfect and nice at heart. The examples of your kindness are always circulated in groups of people. You too, love peace. You wouldn't like to retaliate even to a person who is in the wrong. You are loved due to this. You do not wish to talk behind one's back. People love the way you always treat them. You can give, give and give love, and the best part is that you do not expect it back in return. You are generous enough. Seeing things in a practical light is what the best trait of you guys remains.

If you are a Bullfrog : You symbolize a very happy-go-lucky approach in life. Whatever the surroundings may be, grim or cheerful, you remain unaffected. In fact, you spread cheer wherever you go. You are the leader of your group of friends and good at consoling people in their times of need. You dislike hypocrisy and tend to shirk away from hypocrites.. They can never be in your good books, no matter what. You are very methodical and organized in your work. No amount of mess, hence, can ever encompass you. Beware; it is easy for you to fall in love....

If you are a Snake : You are mysterious. You are someone who can handle pressure with ease, and can handle any atmosphere without going berserk. You can be mean at times, and love to gossip with your selected group. Very prim and proper. You like all situations and things to be in the way you desire, which, sometimes is not possible. As a result, you may lose out in some relationships. But otherwise, you love to help people out from difficult and tight spots when they really need you.

If you are an Ape : Very impatient and hyper!!! You want things to be done as quickly as possible. At heart, you are quite simple and love if you are the center of attraction. That way, you people are unique..You would like to keep yourself safe from all the angles. Shall your name be dragged or featured in any sort of a controversy, you then go all panicky. Therefore, you take your precautions from the very beginning. When you foresee anything wrong, your sixth sense is what saves you from falling in traps. Quite a money minded bunch you people are!!

Baby

The other day baby slept on me again on my shoulders. It is so fun to have her sleeping on me as she was really tired. Usually when she starts to rub her eyes and when she walk like one kind in a mabuk way means she need to sleep really soon. Since I was the only one at the back seat, she was just sitting down quietly then I look and her wan oink oink she just look at me so cutely and I carried her and put her on my shoulders and that was it, her system shutdown :P I gave her 2 short songs and did a little humming for her as she slept. Its really nice feeling to carry the baby and let her sleep on me. People say its training which is true, and they added that I will be a good father. Is that question true? That I have to find out one day.

Just Wondering

The other day when I woke up, I was wondering how much oxygen does a tree will make every morning. I know that it depends on how wet the ground and that the wetter the ground the tree / plants will be able to make more oxygen. But I really wonder if there is so much Carbon Dioxide in the air, will the trees be able to catch all of it and change it to oxygen for us? So the more trees we have the lesser the carbon dioxide will be. Not only that, the place will be cooler as there wont be any sun hitting direct at the ground.

I know you guys might wonder whats up with this kid talking about the environment, but I really feel that the amount of trees in the world is getting less by the day. People are just cutting trees down without replacing them and for them to grow will take many years again unless the soil is really fertile. When my parents were holidaying, everyday my house will have A LOT of dead leaves lying around. So I decided to take the dead leaves and throw into the flower pot and also at the ground that has no grass so that the leaves will decompose n become fertilizer so that the soil will be more fertile and hopefully the mango on my tree will taste better. But I know it is a long time process n a continuous process and since my dad is back he clean all the dead leaves already :(

Anyway if anyone can tell me how much oxygen does a tree create everyday will be great. I also wish that one day there will be trees that will be planted side by side every where. I like this type of picture showing so many trees on the side of the road and it will be really cool to have this scene in our land. I wish one day everyone will start to plan some sort of trees around their neighbor hood.

The Boy Who Really Loves Virtualization

Its true. Now I really love virtualization. Without it its really weird for me especially when I do my work in my office I use 2 windows or maybe more that at once. I have to say due to the exposure that I have in Aeon using ESX, now I come do the easier edition which is Desktop edition. So far I have been testing stuff like Ubuntu Server, Ubuntu Desktop, Red Hat 5 Enterprise, Win 2k3, Win 2k8, Fedora and Windows XP. I wish my computer will have more ram so that I can boot more than 1 VM at once.

Now back home I think I will get a new computer (jz need board only + PCI E) and I will fit in with standard windows and start doing more testing. Like I say my knowledge in linux is not there and I really want to learn as much as I can in my work and not only focus in PnP writing but at the same time trying to do some administration.

Vmware is the current In Thing for IT now. With it you can really cut your cost on getting additional hardware and with VMWARE you will make sure that your hardware will be fully utilize till the 100%. Check out more in vmware website. Windows now can do virtualization too, but how to configure, I haven't learn that yet. But I will learn it soon :)

Sunday

Since my parents are coming back on Monday, I decided to clean the house and one of my activity is to actually go to TTDI park and feed the fish with my bread. I got some bread which is around 4 slices left which is in the fridge and its like frozen till so hard.

Now I know why my friend tells me it is fun to watch the fish. People tell me fish can help you to distress too which I am really not sure if it is true, but if it does do tell me if it is true and how does it work (as in you stare at the fish? You watch the fish swim? and etc). While I was feeding the fish it was quite relaxing and quite fun to see them eating. And when I feed them so many fishes with different color, sizes and species started to surface. Some of the fishes that I saw is cat fish, some like koi, many little fishes, turtles and many more. Its like they are fighting to eat the bread that I brought to them.

The weird thing is, there is already so much bread thrown into the pond but the fishes don't see the rest and they only target my bread as I threw it quite far to get the bigger fishes attention. Its fun to see them eating. Its like distressing a person even though its just feeding the fish. Anyway I hope all the fishes will get their daily supply of food by people who will feed them.

Wonder Why

I haven't seen people who actually hold so tight to money and even if there is an sum to pay the person would not want to pay it or decide that he wont eat the stuff or etc. Why am I saying this? There is a trainee in SL currently and everyday he has rm5 to spend on food and he tries not to overshoot that amount. Not only that, anything that is not his he wont pay (example at times ppl take turns to pay for drinks, he wont). He just keep it to himself.

As I saw my friend yesterday and my friend told me that he is only a trainee and I told my friend even when I was a trainee, and I even got half of what he got (RM300) I still manage to pay for dinner with my friends. I mean it is not about who pay but it is the heart or generosity. The other day I decided to play a trick on him as he wanted to buy snack. So I told him there's a shop that sells curry puff and when he saw the price, he straight away say "next time"

I don't know why he holds money so tight. Like Pr always say, the tighter you hold it will become our IDOL and you will be slaved by it. I don't think that person is having any family issues either. I know times are now hard but we should not let money lead our life or even make us / others feel one kind towards you

A Chat With My Friend

I believe there was once in May that I told some of my friends petrol will increase and they told me not to believe rumours and that the g o v has everything under control and it will only go up in August. But now I guess my friend will have to take back his words as it went up one week later. I guess at times we are like lalang. Its like 1 min is no the other min will be a yes which is very very bad. But what to do? Anyway all I can say is Shell contest is nearly over and faster pump ur petrol in Shell and try out for their contest as it is free and even if you can win a little its still a blessing :)

Linux & Dinner

Today when I reach office all I wanted to do is learn new stuff and do as much testing to learn as much as I can with the help of the Internet. I dare to say I am really bless as the Internet in office is always there and I can learn / download stuff for my testing which is actually a good for me more :P the reason why I say that is I leave my pc on 24hrs, I use company elec and Internet to download and I also learn using their appliance :P

Anyway currently working on Ubuntu Server ver 8 and also trying my hands out on Red Hat hopefully by next week. Ubuntu server to me is quite hard as there is no GUI and I have to find ways to learn the commands. But I did learn some new stuff today. I will have to continue to do more testing and I wish I really have more time for it. Not only that, I install Ubuntu Desktop but I didn't have the time to play with it too. All I did is update the system only :p So Linux boy will be coming soon to learn even more from Ubuntu, Fedora and Red Hat

Dinner was in SS4 today and we had 4 dishes. Food was good and yummy. Baby was with us too and she slept off on my shoulders in the car. She was really tired and when she sat in the car she was really quiet till I carried her and put her on my shoulders. Overall the day was tiring and I need to get my rest really soon.

PJ CAN BE JAM!

Boy the other day I left my house early but I reach office extremely late thanks to rotmans roundabout jam. No cars want to give way and when no one gives way no 1 will move. I was caught in the jam like half an hour and the other day I left quite early. I don't know why the jam can even happen till like that. Anyway when you guys are from SS2 and wanting to go to anywhere near rotmans roundabout and you see the traffic not moving, find another route.

AS400 n Worship

Today our latest as400 system arrive. It is the power 6 as400 which is extremely expensive. If I am not wrong it is around 2 mill+ as the specs is way far and better to all the as400 systems I have seen in my working life. I have a picture but will only upload it later time as I have to switch to another PC to upload the picture.

Yesterday was cg and while I was still working, Kevin SMS me to ask me to cover him for worship and I was a little reluctant to do it as it is not my turn. But since it was like last minute I knew I had to do it for him. Then here comes my sister calling me telling me to do welcome too and when I knew enough is enough I told her I didn't want to do welcome.

I came back from work at 6pm and started to search thru all my songs of worship that I did last time and there were songs that I knew it was good and it connects well so I wanted to use the worship sheets, but I could not find it. So in the end I took 1 set and I started to practice and I practice with no heart. Did like half hearted only as I was tired that is why I didn't feel like doing it either. But when I started to go thru the rest of the songs, the Song 'Yesus Tuhan' was something that hit me and I knew it was the sheet I had to take.

Our Land is currently uncertain of what is happening so I decided to practice the song. Actually I practice all the song and I could connect well but I kept on playing that song as I have to say when practice, you can do any vocals you want and honest it was really nice and I was kind of motivated to do the worship too. It was then my friend bug me to do a little vocals and I decided to do that song for my friend. But before I left my house, I told God to help me out during worship and I went to have KFC for dinner thinking that was the fastest dinner I could take which was a major mistake.

Started of worship I decided to pray and got everyone to pray for them self (to ask 4 forgiveness for sin, take away tired bodies, prepare heart, put all down before God) and I prayed a little and started into worship. Honest 1st song was BAD as it was due to KFC and also a little tone deaf as I was tired. So I skip to next song and it went on smooth and when it reach the song for our land, I decided to let the song become vocals only which actually sounded quite nice as everyone chips in their vocals to sing for God. The last part of worship was bridge of 'Thru it all' and after that I started to pray for our land, cg leaders who are there (Kayz + Wife + Gab + Liz) and also CG members.

Mobile phone signaling power - info sharing

Pls take note!!

When you try to call someone through mobile phone, don't put your mobile closer to your ears until the recipient answers because directly after dialing, the mobile phone would use it's maximum signaling power, which is:

2watts = 33dbi. (4 - 6 dbi is Harmless )
Please use left ear while using mobile, because if you use the right one it
will affect brain directly. This is a true fact from Apollo medical team.

Please be careful and forward to people whom you really care about.

The Miracle of an Obedient Heart

"People were going around me-about 20 feet away from the bridge. That's when it snapped-[the bridge] broke down and crashed. I saw 2 cars go off the bridge, and I was like...'wow!'"

EDITOR'S NOTE: The following is a very special account of a miracle that happened the day of the recent bridge disaster in Minnesota. This is the testimony of a young man named Matthew who is not a stranger to the voice of God. The part of his story that I found most remarkable was the fact that his obedience to God ended up saving the lives of many others, who otherwise could've just ended up another statistic in this tragedy.

Matthew's account made me wonder: do we ever stop to think of the lives that are affected by our obedience to the Lord? Not just our own-though we know the Bible says blessing comes with obedience to God-but also the lives of those around us. Every one of us is affected by another's actions...but can we actually save lives (even unknowingly) just by doing what we know God has asked us to do? Read on...and you'll see a perfect example of this kind of obedience to the Lord. -Aimee Herd, BCN.

(Brooklyn Park, Minnesota)-Wednesday, August 1st, seemed to be a day like any other in the St. Paul, Minneapolis area. But at 6:05pm-in the midst of rush hour traffic-the busy Interstate Bridge that joined I-35 with the city of Minneapolis suddenly broke apart and fell into the Mississippi River.

There have been many accounts already, which have pointed to the grace and protection of God in the midst of such tragedy.... Due to the construction on the bridge, the traffic was not at the normally full flow, or speed. There was a train riding underneath the bridge at the time, which may have stopped some of the collapse. And then the school bus, filled with 50 children that rode the concrete on the way down during the collapse, and didn't tip over-all the children were saved. (Photo: AP)

And then there is Matthew's testimony of God's protection. What happened to Matthew (last name withheld) on the day of the bridge collapse is nothing short of miraculous and amazing!

After being contacted by one of Matthew's family members, to inform me of his story, I later spoke with Matthew directly. First I asked him go back to that moment, before the bridge collapsed, and explain everything that happened next.

"I was coming home to take a shower, and then pick up my friend across the I 35 W. bridge," Matthew recalled. "I was headed into the city [of Minneapolis], it was bumper-to-bumper."

"I was praying and talking to the Lord, and the next minute the Lord gave me this vision. In the vision [the bridge was] shaking-it started to snap and broke through. I saw two cars go off the edge into the Mississippi. Then, [after the vision] I said, 'What is that all about Lord? You need to talk to me.'"

"God told me to 'STOP!'" (I was 100 feet away from the bridge)

"He said, 'You need to stop right there.' I said, 'Lord, there are cars behind me,' (There were about 100 people in the line of traffic behind him, and many had begun honking their horns at him). But God said, 'That's okay, you need to stop.' So I stopped. And then the Lord said, 'Look.'"

"People were going around me-about 20 feet away from the bridge. That's when it snapped-[the bridge] broke down and crashed. I saw 2 cars go off the bridge, and I was like...'wow!'" (Photo: MyFOX9.com-KMSP)

"At first I was sitting in the car waiting, thanking the Lord, because it could've been me on that bridge. Then people came up to me and said, 'Thank you.'"

"I got out and looked from the side [at the collapse]...it was traumatic seeing what happened. And then the police told me to go back in my car and turn around."

I asked Matthew what he was thinking at the moment he saw the bridge begin to break...

"I was realizing that the Lord is awakening [His people] and saying, 'Listen to Me, you need to listen to Me.' I realized that if I [hadn't] listened to Him, I would've gotten on that bridge and took a ride."

"After that I called my friend and told him I couldn't pick him up because the bridge broke through. Then I went to the Holy Spirit conference [that was happening nearby] and worshipped the Lord!"

I then asked Matthew, "As you look back at what God spared you from that day, and at what happened with the bridge, what immediately comes to mind?"

"When I look back," said Matthew, "I realize the Lord has a calling [for me], and He's preparing me to be obedient and ready, and to know it is 'time to roll'...and to know who Jesus is."

Girls vs. Grown Women

Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.

Grown women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits

**********

Girls want to control the man in their life.

Grown women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.

**********

Girls check you for not calling them.

Grown women are too busy to realize you hadn't.

**********

Girls are afraid to be alone.

Grown women revel in it-using it as a time for personal growth.

**********

Girls ignore the good guys.

Grown women ignore the bad guys.

**********

Girls make you come home.

Grown women make you want to come home.

**********

Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.

Grown women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man.

**********

Girls try to monopolize all their man's time ( I.e., don't want him hanging with his friends).

Grown women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special-and goes to kick it with her own friends!

**********

Girls think a guy crying is weak.

Grown women offer their shoulder and a tissue.

**********

Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.

Grown women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of losing his 'manhood'.

**********

Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.

Grown women know that that was just one man.

**********

Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, ignoring all 'signs'.

Grown women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you back-and move on, without bitterness.

**********

Girls will read this and get an attitude.

Grown women will read this and pass it on to other Grown women and their male friends".

So Slow

Darn running a windows in my vmware is so freaking slow. For my windows to boot up nicely, it takes at least 15minutes. Really slow like turtle. I wish I have my office CPU to run the booting so that it will boot up faster. In office I don't even see the lag time in booting up. Its like real time.

Anyway I manage to solve an issue regarding TM server as our network is so high end that it is not connected with one another and I had to crack my head to wonder how to do the configuration so that the TM could update and in the end it did update. Did learn something new today from that.

Anyway my office mate called me just now and ask me if I did any configuration to any hardware and I said no and my question was what happen? Then he told me all the PC cannot access the Internet. Its weird as I was the last 1 to leave, the Internet was still working fine. I guess modem's are like pc's if you keep it on too long and don't restart it, it will sing twinkle twinkle little star :P

Time for me to eat my icecream!

Tomato Story

A Jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft.
The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

'You are employed' he said. Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.

The man replied 'But I don't have a computer, neither an email'.

'I'm sorry', said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job.'

The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.
He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with $60.

The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.

Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US he started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.
The man replied,'I don't have an email.'
The broker answered curiously, 'You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!' The man thought for a while and replied, 'Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!'

Moral of the story

Moral 1:
Internet is not the solution to your life.

Moral 2:
If you don't have Internet, but work hard, you can be a millionaire.

Moral 3: If you received this message by email, you are closer to being an office boy/girl, than a millionaire...

Moral 4: If you have an email address, you are more likely to receive lots of political propaganda, get emotionally worked-up and are at a higher risk of premature death caused by heart attack!!

QSA

QSA was here to audit on Tuesday and Wednesday. Welcome David & Cordelia, our auditors from Singapore. Tuesday was the interview from Cordelia to me about the Physical Access and other questions about the policy in the DC. Honest this girl is really soft spoken, pleasant and she is really different. From the 1st meeting that I met her in KPMG, I knew this girl was not any ordinary girl. I guess she knew I didn't know much so when her questions got to hard, she will give me some examples together with David. Thanks guys and I know that some of my answers didn't really tally with what it suppose to be :P

I was officially their driver on Tuesday as I pick them up from 1U at around 845 in the morning. I guess they had to really wake up early as they were staying in KL and they had to take a taxi to the place and I really wonder if they had enough sleep. Anyway on the way to office was full of conversation about nearly everything and when I nearly reach office my conversation with Cordelia...

Cordelia : Is this Hillsongs (I drove different car on Tuesyday)?
Me: Yeah it is , wait how you know its Hillsongs?
Cordelia : I listen to their songs too.
Me : So you are a Christian?
Cordelia : Yeah and I think you are too
Me : Yeah I am, some time for me to prob more, which church you go too?
Cordelia : City Harvest
Me: Wow, isn't that quite far off as it is near the other course way?
Cordelia : In Singapore, no where is too far.
(All 3 in the car started to laugh)

That was when I knew why this girl is so different and I was even more willing to help as she is a Christian. I am not trying to be religion bias, but when I know someone is a Christian I will tend to do more for them. Since they don't have transport it is ok to bless others as there no harm in doing that..

Me : I heard to get a seat in City Harvest, you need to go really early.
Cordelia : Not really, you still can get a seat. Its the youth that usually will go early as they have more time.
Me: Yeah I guess working adults have less time huh?
Cordelia : Yeah.

Anyway I had to rush off to Kl after sending them to PJ to attend a meeting which is quite a waste of my time :P Was there nearly the whole day. I was shocked when their meeting was full of food. Most of the meetings that I attend is without food but this 1 is with food and drinks. As I was in KL, I manage to meet some of my aeon mates for a drink. After that it was back to testing the system with Mr Ng and since the programmer took too long, I had to go check what that dude was doing and when I walk thru the door, didn't look at Dave & Cordelia, they said hi to me and I told them we will go back together. After testing it was time to go home and I was their official driver again to send them back to KPMG tower and we talk about different things. I know I will see you all again. I don't mind being your drivers too. And if you all wondering if I am up on this girl? No I am not, I just respect them with their qualification that they have and also there is no harm being their friends as work is work, enjoy is enjoy.

Just The Other Day

My friend was having a tough time in life and from my friends blog I knew something happen and I decided to drop my friend an email and my friend told me the problem my friend was facing. And when I saw the long reply I took some time to reply my friend and when I was writing the email, My head was not really thinking and I just wrote.

And my friend then later reply that my mail was timely and it hit my friend on the spot. Now the true part is this, when God gives wisdom when it is talking / mailing people. The thing is when I am in this mode, I don't know what I am talking or what I am writing but it comes out and it will touch the hearts of people. How does that happen. Only 1 answer, God can do all things thru us for the people.
