Not Matured Enough?

Guy : I want to buy house also cannot coz everything so expensive.
Guy : If I see them send someone to space again, I will go and bomb their space ship.

Inside me was, cakap pandai, go do la. If you can even pay to go where ever the space ship is located, I will salute you. Next where are you going to get those explosive to bomb a space ship? Not only that, why bomb others space ship when it is not their problem? Not only that, how are you going to get thru the security man? Why don't you save your trouble and go keep the money so you can buy your own house?



Guy : I know I am not a good person whom knows the know how of corporate climbing. How to perform when sometimes u perform but boss did not see

Guy : managing customers, demanding customers, and the communication of works, one say do this, another say do that, but later only blame vendor, always get head shot

Man my friend who is the same age as me, talks like he is a small kid. On the top he keep on blaming on others than rather thinking why it is not happening to him. Before this he was sacked before as the company mention that he was not performing and told him not to come and work anymore. Oh yeah any way my friend is not a boss so he don't manage people so he is talking crap. Anyway he is working as a vendor and being vendor surely you will get shot most of the time as you are paid to do the job.



Anyway that day in my friends house :

Guy : Jason can you share with me IT Security
Jason : What IT Security are you talking about?
Guy : I know about it is about firewall and routers.
Jason : No, not really, it depends on what you doing. Why?
Guy : Coz this company ask me to be their SA and Security.
Jason : What system are they using?
Guy : err..Just normal office system.
Jason : Normal? Yeah what system?
Guy : *could not answer*
Jason : IT security is not only about FW n routers, it is so wide so it depends on what you do.
Guy : *just listening*
Jason : It can be for certification also. So which part of IT Security are you doing.
Guy : *he could not answer*

This guy most of the time he write stuff on his CV, he don't know what he is writing. If you guys want to have a good laugh after a tough time, let me know, I will drop you his CV.

1 Month Of Madness

March was a mad month for me. Literally if you are not strong, you can actually either go psycho or even break down. Wonder why I say that? I have been working OT for practically everyday except on Wednesday's where I have to go for CG.

Anyway I really thank God that he pull me thru this tough time. When I was stress, I listen to Christian songs that actually made me sane. Reason was I had to work Saturday and Sunday. After work on Saturday had to go to church and do ushering. Then on Sunday I went for FYF class in Church and at 1pm I continue to work till 530pm. Stop at 530pm coz I cannot tahan already. Tired man.

I thank God for my office mate who actually help me to so called "fake" data for 3 months. It is really tough job. I rather ask my office mate than the trainees as the trainees cant even do simple task like printing stuff. They can print the thing like so many times but still make mistakes. But I thank God that on the 2/4/10 it is all done and I can now take a rest.

Chat With Usher

The other day when I was doing ushering, this uncle talk to me on some things.

Part 1

Uncle : Weather is so hot everyday.
Jason : Yeah it is madness uncle.
Uncle : When I am at home, I don't feel like going out as it is cooler at home
Jason : Yeah I agree. At times now I on aircond to sleep at night.
Uncle : Yeah me too. Without aircond cannot sleep.
Jason : Yeah. Now at times I sleep with the fan at number 4 then only can feel the wind.


Part 2

Uncle : You know now things are so expensive especially houses.
Jason : I agree. It is so expensive. Once you buy an house, you will be forever in debt.
Uncle : Yeah correct. Last time houses are less than 100K or if you want better about 200K?
Jason : Yeah. Now houses are like 500+. If you want cheaper buy far far away.
Uncle : If now you earn about 3K a month, after minus this that you wont have anything left.
Jason : Yeah true uncle.
Uncle : You think your time is hard, but next generation will be WORST.
Jason : Yeah total true.

For part 2, to those who are younger than me, I am not here to scare you but that is the truth. So do your part, start saving when you are small for your future. It will be tough next time.

Good Question

The other day when I was in church and while waiting for celebration to start, my mum friend ask me this

Aunty : When you get married, will you stay with your parents?
JT : Don't know aunty. Never even think about that.
Aunty : Still not time yet huh?
JT : Don't say that, haven't even think about gf yet.


But one thing I know that once people get married, they wont stay with their parents anymore.

So Hot

Weather now is madness. Not only it is hot but the dams are not drying out. I guess hot weather is also part of humans to be blame. Today will be Earth Hour @ 8pm again. Do your part to show support for this event. Not only that, do plant more trees or other types of plants that can provide us with oxygen :)

Ushering For Kids Concert

Was in church since 1045am as I had to usher for the Kids Concert the other day in church. Lunch was chicken rice, but inside the packet, there is chicken, char siew and siew yoke. It is 3 in 1 type of lunch. Not only that, 1 of the aunty the gave me half of her portion. I ate till nearly want to faint. But it was quite nice.

Concert was good. They sang 3 songs, One Way, Every Move I make and the worship song that I have no idea what the title is. Then they had clown shoes and other type of entertainment which can be used for adults too. Really, there were that GOOD.

After everything ended about 3:30pm, I hang around till the celebration started and after all was done it was about 7pm. I was that already total drain as nearly the whole day was in church. But it was really worth every single second.

Ice Cream

Had this ice cream the other day in SS2. Its called 100 yen and it is beside macdees ss2. I had green tea ice cream while Mr Ng had mango. It is really nice. It is different from like ice kacang from KTZ. They blend the icecream with the flavour and it is really even through the whole thing. There are many flavours to it. Do Check it out. Not During Worship Please

The other day when I was doing ushering, my usher partner said this to me during worship :


Uncle : Go after her la, she is sweet and pretty
Jason : *Just smile, inside me was not interested as I was doing my duty*
Uncle : Guys must always take the lead
Jason : *inside me was what ever man*

What I didn't like was he talk to me this when it was worship time. If I am not wrong it was the 3rd song at that time. It is like no respect to so many people which is me, that girl and God. That is what I think la, might be wrong here. When we are doing ushering, we do our best to serve God and not to talk other things which is not related to our duty.

JT : Yeah I agree..

Believe me, at times when you are not in the situation and suddenly you are in that situation, the feeling really sucks to the max. Wont explain more. Just figure it out generally.

Angin............

Well angin got 2 meaning.

1. Angin in the tummy that cause discomfort.
2. Angin can be like mood swing or another meaning.

But I will explain the 2nd option. To me it is like at times you feel you want to buy something, which can be generally anything. Then the urge is so strong that you need to have it. What is the current urge that I have? Getting a new guitar that wont cost a hole in my pocket :P

Aim To Be Good

Now I would really like to experiment new songs when I do worship for CG. I know last time I always repeat songs that is easy to sing like 4 chords song, but now I target to do more or shall I say introduce more songs for cg to sing. By doing this, I have no choice but to practice more and to be good in guitar and hopefully I can play nearly everything one day no matter how hard it is.

Jason : Hi. *I cannot remember her name*

I guess I better start to learn up new ushers name. This girl was not from my group but during Christmas last year I serve with her upstairs.

Another event was an usher actually pass away not long ago. But when they told me the name, I have no idea who is she. My bad. But I have to say my team is big. But it is no excuse for me not knowing them as I was in the usher team since DSP days. I guess it is good to at least know your usher friends name. No harm. I only know those who I often talk too.

Just A Chat

The other day on MSN and talking to my boss:

Gabe : Got to learn how to save to get married and buy house.
Jason : Yeah, but it is not easy.

Tboy : Our cost of living very expansive.
All : Yeah

Well I will sum it out. The 1st is things are so freaking expensive and getting married and buying house is extremely hard. Imagine with me, if you buy a house now, you will be in DEBT till you are out of work / retire. Even though it might be fun to get married, it is costly.

2nd, Boss, please pay us our increment la!!!!!

Trainee

I once made noise that the trainee is so lazy, blur and etc. Guess what, I will add on some story about them to entertain you.

1. There is this dude, when the cleaner was moping the floor, he even put his foot into the pail when it was in front of him! Then his shoes all wet
2. This same dude again, when he was walking on the pathway and there was a big cone saying something. He even bang that cone down. People who were around even asked him if he was drunk as he walk into that thing without looking.
3. Both the trainee is everyday checking facebook pictures for girls. Both of them. Their job is about 80% of the time in FB for the whole day. Ask them to learn other things, they are not interested. Any female wanting a bf, please let me know.
4. Ask them to do my work which is a little harder, nothing comes back to me.
5. Ask them for solution, they would straight away implement without thinking and when question, they jz errrrrrrrrrrrrrr
6. Ask them to check PC serial, after checking 5 pc's they say it is not in the list.
7. While we have to unpack stuff from the box they just stand there and look.
8. When we have production problem, they still check ahmoi picture in facebook.
9. They wanted to learn linux, but their linux is to play chat and facebook. Talk about learning.
   

Dumb GPS

The other day when I was driving back from reunion dinner, this GPS didn't tell me to keep to my left lane and when I was in the middle lane, it suddenly ask me to turn left, which I didn't manage to turn as I over shoot the turning. Then I started to scold the GPS. I had to take a longer route back to my house but I wasn't happy with that thing.

The 1st time when it was used, the GPS calculated and told me in 300m turn left when the left turn was less than 100m away and I was so right. When I turn left, they told me to turn left suddenly. So the bottom line is, don't buy cheap stuff. But a little more expensive as it will have better quality.

And honest I don't know the brand of the GPS that I used, but confirm it is not Garmin :P

Why Guitar Is Getting More Expensive

The other day I saw my friend. Then I decided to ask him this question.

JT : Why guitars are so expensive now?
Tim : Guitar brands are now doing survey on the market after they come out with guitars. After that they raise it 20% every time.

Moral of the story, if you want to get a guitar, better get it soon before it keeps on going up 20%. 20% is a lot of money people.

Where Will I Be In 10 Years Time

Just to share that there is this dude who came and assist us in our production problem and he is 38 years old this year (if I am not wrong) . But one thing I total respect about this guy is he knows his stuff so well man. While having a drink with Mr Ng at the pantry on the 5th, I mention this.

JT : I wonder if 10 years down the road will I be like him or at least be the same or better than him?


This guy is not any part of the projects that we are doing but he has to assist us as the head of the programmer called Lionel keep on saying it is not his problem when at all ways / angle / direction is showing that it is his problem. But after a lot of time spend on doing CSI by me, I know it was his problem. Anyway the bottom line is now I have to work hard as I don't know everything yet. I might be better in Windows than some people, but there are stuff that others know that I still don't know. So let us not be comfy, lets fight on as knowledge never ends.

Superb Vocals

When I say superb, I really mean it. The other day I was looking for a song which is called "You Are Great" and they gave me a few songs was near to that title. But in the end I found it and I decided to play it to see if it is the correct song. It was and the person singing the song is called Juanita Bynum.

So I decided to on the song a little louder. As the singer is a black, you guys know how well black people can really sing. As it was so good, even my lil niece came into the kitchen (when I was eating) to check out who is singing the song. She even walk into my computer room to take a look at the computer :P

If you guys want the song, let me know. I have already send the song to 2 person and they are awed too.

CNY Production Problem

On the 2nd day of CNY, we had production issue. I was back after spending 5 hours with leezee and when I reach home, I have already received a call from office stating that users cannot access one application. I then told the DCO to send the error log to my mail. After checking at the instant I knew it was not my problem.

Anyway since the system was already down like 1 hour over when I receive the call, I decided to go in and guess what? Even the programmers have no idea on how to solve the issue. They just tell us to try this and that and everything didn't work. The final approach was to restart server and at this time it was already down for nearly 3 hours. By the time everything was up it was bout 4hours. When I restarted, I was more worried that the servers wont come up once again.

Last year we had problem. This year we had a problem, how about next year?

A Sequel

You know there is this show called Home Alone and it has sequel on it? Well today I will do my own sequel of that show :P Yup I will be left alone AGAIN. Sad but true :( :"(

MARCH A BUSY MONTH

Month of March will be a tough month for office. Really. Have to do so many projects. With the amount of resource that we have it is really hard. Not only is it hard, but some people just don't do their work that is assign to them and others have to cover. But lets see how it goes for this month..

Exercise

I went to play badminton after a long while and I guess I played nearly 10 games. It was madness, but it was a great work out for me as I haven't been doing exercise for quite some time. I know I also promise my friend to go running in TTDI park but due to work commitment (support) I could not go for my exercise. But I guess I have to make more effort in doing exercise. Can't be so lazy. Even though I am thin, I really have no idea what is going on inside. *sigh*

Gathering In Suan Mei's Place

It was on the 21st February that my old school friends gathered in SM's house in Subang. To me it was the 1st gathering after their wedding in December 2009. Anyway we really had good time from eating on the table and yacking like so much and playing games. Those who were there were Meng Yoe, SM, JT, Jason Khoo, Joanna, Lianne, Cyrstal and Sara. Some highlights of the event :

JT : Buat apa?

what happen was Lianne, accidentally tickle Crystal while taking off the seat belt.

Crystal : Joanna, you remember how to go?
JT : alamak! don't tell me you don't know?

Sara : You know last time when I was working as a waiter, after serving the soup, this happen.
Customer : Excuse me, your soup is not hot enough.
Sara : What?
Customer : *shows her the thermometer*

Crystal : I feel like going for the energizer run.
JT : Me too, sounds quite cool coz running at night.
SM : JT do you still run?
JT : Nah, the last time I ran was during Run For The Nation. That also i nv train
Crystal : But you are still so thin
Joanna : I hate you !
Lianna : You are so lucky
JT : But then again you don't know what is going in here *pointing to my body*
SM : Yeah thats right.
JT : No matter thin or what, still must work out to keep fit and healthy

Don't Play With Trust And Responsibility

Something happen and I would like to share. This is about something that happen in office. I was back to office on the 3rd day of CNY to solve a production issue. On the 4th day, another issue happen and this time I was not there as I took leave on Wednesday. But on Tuesday I confirm that all servers were ok.

On Thursday when I went into office, I didn't know about the problem as there was no log or anything for me to check. I only knew about the problem much later about 5pm+ and I found it to be shutdown. At that instant moment I power up the system. This system was down since a day before for more than 24hrs and those who work on the 5 shifts just sign off their checklist without actually carrying out their task.

But the underlying issue is this. When you are given a task, do it and do it nicely no matter how much you hate to do it. Honestly I hate to sign forms and my checklist. It is tedious work as I have to make sure all the dates and signature is done nicely. Not only that, I have stacks to sign practically everyday thanks to the nonsense program that they have in our system. But just do it, as it is your job (general to everyone).

February 25

I have to say February 25th was a tough day for me in office. Man from the morning when some people don't do their work nicely, I will have to come and interfere and help them solve their problem.

Anyway after lunch, work was tougher when I had to read about the tools that I need to test out. But some things don't really sync in my brain as I don't really do debugging stuff and the tool that I was reading was about debugging software.

Anyway on Feb 24th, the problem was back to the programmers but on the 25th everything change and it seems to be going against us. I honestly don't know why and it is now part of my problem as I know servers a little better. But I know this is all programmers fault, but guess what? They have no idea whats wrong too..

1st Thing I Saw...

When I got back home at my table is BE 2009 Form. Oh boy, time to do tax again....................... People, don't do it on the last minute again ok?

My Hair

A lot of people asking what happen to my hair. So allow me to explain. On the day that I had a CG party, my hair was quite long and I knew I had to cut before my mum will say things like "If you no money I pay for u la". Anyway when I was out there, I choose number 0 which actually the side and back is short while the front there is still hair.

Anyway when he cut my side and back I didn't bother. THEN he slice my front side with the same way as the other and I was like "eh eh". Anyway I know it is too late so let him cut all lor.

I Thought I Was Bad, but .................

The other day when I was playing guitar for my mum cg, I decided to do the worship for them. But since the worship leader prepared some songs, we started with his songs. Boy I have to say when he played the songs, most of it out of tune which was made me even confuse how the original tone sounds like.

Anyway when he played my sets of songs, he rosak my timing too. My songs timing very nicely arranged. You guys must be asking if he is a new guitarist? Nah he is not. He knows guitar long time ago, but don't have formal lessons. I too don't have formal but I am still quite ok la, not that good but its like can pakai la. Can play twinkle lil star la..hahaha :P

1 Half Hours Of Finger Practice
