Heat From Road

Man the weather now is madness nearly everyday. Even when I wait for my parents by the road and standing on the road, I can feel my shoe sole get heated up and I can feel the warm feeling man. I guess we really need to do something about global warming. I know not many things can be done but if everyone tries to do something, it will be better than nothing

Sleep With HP

The other day my parents went for wedding dinner and after church I went home, hang around and since I had headache, I went to sleep early. But guess what? They had some problems with the car and since I sleep with my HP off, they could not get me. When I turn on my hp the next morning, there goes my hp being flooded with my sis sms blasting me up the wall.

Why I don't turn on my hp when I sleep is because when I turn it on last time, I had a couple of calls asking where I am and etc. It is always wrong number as I guess most of the time when people call me is like from 1am and above and they could be clubbing at that time. So do you sleep with your HP on?

Tablets

Everyday, I really see a lot of people carrying tablets where ever they go. Mostly I see is like Ipad and Ipad 2 even though there are other brands out there. Not only adults carry it but kids also. But most of the time I see people playing angry bird on Ipad. So is it a really need to have this kind of gadgets? But I believe the reason why parents buy for kids is to keep them quiet especially during dinners so that they won't be so bising. But if you really give me any of this tablets, I will find it not useful as I will not have a real use for it.

So Stupid

The other day when I was chatting with my friend on the phone. The conversation has been modified a little bit.

KC : A asked me why you haven't come back
JT : How to come back when they nv give me any offer?

Anyway the bottom line is SL will not pay me what I want and so why did A even bother to ask my friend if I am coming back or not. It is called empty talk.

Outsourced

My friend recommended me to watch this show. I think this show is worth watching as the way they tell me about the story line is quite interesting. Once I have watch it, I will give an short version of what the story is. But now I cannot watch this show anymore. I guess you all know why too.

LRT Rosak

The other day when I was coming back from work, the LRT decided to rosak. I was on the LRT like for 1 hour man. It started to rosak from 555 till I got home 7pm. I had to stand the whole way as I didn't have any seat. Oh yeah the way they tell people about what went wrong shows that they really never do their homework at all. The announcement goes like below

1. The front LRT Station is over crowded
2. The problem is from Abdullah Hukum till Bangsar
3. The problem is from Abdullah Hukum till Pasar Seni.

So which is which? I really don't know. But surely when you rosak during the peak hour of going home surely the stations will be over pack with humans. That is normal. But honestly I was really frustrated and after reaching KJ LRT station, I was freaking tired :(

Writing Something Else

I know that now that I write a lot of hand phone and other stuff as now I read a lot of it in office. Well a friend of mine told me I should go work for some company so that I can get my hands to test the different type of hand phones out there. At times I don't want to buy it, but I want to get to try about a week or 2 so that I will know how it feels as it is technically not possible to buy all the types of hand phone out there and test it and sell it. I don't get paid to buy and sell hp :P

JT : yeah.

JT :.................... *nothing to say*

I am just wondering how can humid be wet.

Bone Checkup

There I was nothing to do so I went for bone check up and guess what? Most of my friends are sihat while I am not so sihat category. Sad but true. I guess I need to start to drink my milk and also start to do my exercise once again.

My Playing Kind Of Suck

Haven't really practice that much and my playing is now getting quite bad. Sigh. So it is time I need to take up my guitar once again. But I still have problem playing with pick. Not comfy with it even though the pick is good pick. It is just me. User Problem :P

I'm Problem Solver

Well I have to train this newbie kid for 2 months but when training him, I get to learn new stuff too as most of the time when that newbie run into problems, I will be the 1 that will have to bail him out as when I ask him for solution he will tell me "don't know". I have to admit, even I got about nearly 5 years working experience, I am not all knowing. I will have to find out the hard way to solve the problem.

The other day when I was solving / thinking of a solution, that newbie sat beside me, looking down, playing with his pen and notebook and was whistling. I really hate when it is not my problem I have to solve. But I have to learn at the other way that when I solve, I will get something new as it is now really hardly that I get to experience new stuff in my life.

My NAS Got Problem *Updated*

The reason why my Raid 1 ran in degraded mode is NOTHING got to do with my HDD problem but thanks to the firmware that went bogus. I updated it to the latest and my NAS is working back to nicely. Make me worried. I think I got it when I was about to resign from my previous company and it is hardly been used except when I need to backup my files.

MU

Manchester United won the English Premier League but they lost the champions league. I guess there is really no way to challenge Barca when it comes to footie. They are way ahead and even with the best players around (Real Madrid) there is no way that they can even challenge them. So what will it be like in 2012? Let's wait and see

What I Do Now

Well since we are not really wanted and the job load is not so heavy, I am starting to read a lot on hand phone(s). Not that I am going to buy any hand phone soon, but I want to read to add to my knowledge as there are so many different technology that I am not even aware that is like coming out nearly everyday.

Now hand phone got AMOLED screen and the other is like super AMOLED, super AMOLED plus and many more. As there are so many types of hand phone out in the market, I am reading what different type of hand phone is offering and guess what? Now there is even a dual core CPU for hand phone!

I guess one day even the hand phone can over take a laptop. But due to screen size limitation, it might not happen. But I guess with a 4.3 inch screen, it will be easier and better to view the Internet browsing and etc.

I enjoy reading this website for now for blackberry. So many stories there. Last time I didn't bother to read about BB as I thought it is only meant for people who are working and who need high end stuff. But I guess I am wrong. Now I see many people carrying BB. Kena Told Off

My team and I attended an Induction the other day and my team was being told off. This person told us that he does not agree for our team to exist and that we are only here to reset password. Ouch. That totally hurts man. I guess like many people ask me, if we are not needed, why hire us in the 1st place?

Newbie Issue Part 2

This newbie that I am talking about will be transferring out from my team and guess what my boss ask me to do? Train him up. So the other day I decided to bench mark his knowledge and guess what? His knowledge is peanuts. When he has no answer, he will come and say this as below

JT : So how? What is the answer?
KF : I don't know, what is the answer?


The Internet is there and you can even google it to find the answer. Not only that, since he is going to do operation support, well I am going to wish him all the best.

Newbie Issue

There is one newbie who is an @sshole and boy does he piss me off. The other day when he called me to his place with his fingers upward when he wanted to ask me a question. And when I got to his place, the question he asked me as below

"I want to resend the password, who should I send it too?"

This is not the 1st time he is asking me this clever question! He asked me once before some time back. Anyway this kid really have a problem. The other day he was being tease by some of them about having a gf. Before that my dad SMS me to tell me that he could not take me as he is still in Klang. So when I was walking faster to call my dad, he suddenly ask me this :

"Ooi Teo, why u walk so fast? want to go paktoh ah"

I turn back look at him and I continue to walk. Waste my time if I did shoot him. Moral of story, there are many dumb ass people on planet I call earth :)

Laptop

Now I feel like getting a laptop. I guess if you know me, you will know why I want to get a laptop. Not so much of I need it but because......(unsure ask me why). But the current laptop that I have, when I run too many apps on it, boy does it really slow down as the memory is out. The other day when I ran multiple tabs of FF and was running my msn, my laptop really work freaking slow. When I type, nothing came out. Haha. So I had to close some of the tabs and once some of the memory was free up, I manage to get to run my MSN like normal once again.

I have seen some manufactures feed the laptop with 4GB of ram (quite standard), 6GB or till 8GB of ram (this is too much!). But to me, IMHO if you are running Win 7 and if you are freaks like me love to open so many tabs on FF or IE, then I guess even you can finish 4GB in a snap of your finger. So moral of the story is, max out ur laptop as IMHO again, laptop can last you quite long if you know how to take care of it :)

Taylor Gs Mini

I wish I can get my hands to that guitar. I guess most of you know that I want to get a Taylor guitar 1 day and this guitar is the most affordable guitar if compared to the rest of the Taylors guitar. In USA you can get it for $400 and the other day, I tried to order it online and wanted to see what is the price it will come up to with shipping. But guess what? They don't ship to M'sia. SO SAD! So will I buy? Maybe. When? Don't Know.

HTC Desire HD

Man the season of going gila over different HP has really hit me. Now I want a HTC Desire HD. It comes with 4.3 inch screen and there are actually people selling this phone after buying it is because of 2 reasons.

1. Screen to big
2. Prefer Iphone

I wish I can buy 2nd hand from them. But even at 2nd hand price, it is costly. It is about 1.8k for 2nd hand? Some can be from 1.2k and above (AP or Original). But I guess once buying this phone, there is a need to add the additional accessories to protect your HP from scratching. Screen protector (got normal, matte, privacy), case (leather, hard case and etc), more power battery (coz ori battery don't last so long as in how long it can stretch. but depends on how u drain ur battery) and the list can go on till, car charger and etc etc :P

Such A Stupid Software

I have never seen in my life such a stupid software that is currently being used at my work place yet they are making such a big hoo haa about it. It is freaking slow and it is freaking stupid and everyday they have conference call after work to talk about bugs.

When you hear the word bugs, u think it is application problem. But guess what? Meaning of bugs is actually error found in the excel sheet and everyday they will check the excel sheet. Not only that, it is not automated and you need to manually feed the excel to the apps. Just when I thought my previous side software is bad, but guess what? This is even WORST

Kids Now

The other day when we were having our morning tea, this was the conversation we had :

Rach : It is not easy for those local to find job overseas right?
JT : Yeah. At times they keep jobs for their locals 1st then we come later. Why?
Rach : Nah just asking.
JT : Oh ok.
Rach : Actually my bf might be going to Scotland to do masters, so I want to follow also.
JT : *Inside me*, Career also tak ada, go Scotland to do what?
Awi : If you want you can go, but you wont be doing IT, you will be like a waiter and etc.

But kids now are really different. They cannot take hard life. If I am the parent of Rach, I won't even let her go as it is a waste as her bf (not even fiance) is going there to do masters and how long does masters take? Lets say given 1 or 2 or max 3 years? Then what are you going to do there? Why is following bf so important? I really wonder. If you all know why, do tell me.

Nice Car

When I was having my gathering in Cheras with Lim Lim, we were really blessed because she drove us and drove us in such a hot car. She drove us in Wolkswagon GTI! The car is super powerful and stepping on it a little bit can really make you fly :P
