Tyre Rosak

I had a flat tyre the other day and I didn't know it. While driving in SS2, this Honda Civic horn me and over take me and told me my tyre is flat. Anyway I went to the shop to fix it and when they pump my tyre, they cannot find where is the leak and when they found it, they gave me bad news that the tyre needs to be change.

Anyway I had to change 2 tyre's and boy does it cost even for a 13 inch tyre. Its like rm150 a piece. See total is rm300 and very soon I will need to service my car and maybe it will cost a bomb too..

Tough Day

It was a tough day on 21st October. I receive a call at 745am from Mr Ng telling me no more HDD SPACE and I straight away rush down and started to investigate the problem and boy the operators who are there are no help at all as they don't know anything and they don't even monitor the system.

Even checklist that are given are just sign without even checking. Many times we have hit problem and they say they monitor when they don't and we have to find some excuse to cover them. I think some people are now plain lazy and really they cannot pakai. Even their job they can't even do and the best part is after working 2 years they still cannot get their job done nice. At times I wish they are at the firing blocks rather than us for their mistakes that they created.

What My Parents Did To Me

My parents came back from a holiday and they touch down @ KLIA @ 515am. When I was on my way to KLIA, my dad called me but I forgot to turn my HP on to ringing (switch it to silent mode due to using it as alarm to wake me up) and when I took my HP when driving, I read the sms and boy was I piss. I woke up to take them and they tell me they are taking the van back with their friends.

I gave my dad a call and I then u turn back after exiting 1 of the toll. The reason why I was angry is because I hate it when suddenly you are doing something, plans changed at the very last minute. Not only that, it is 5am+ in the morning man...

*SIGH*

Got Food, Be Happy & Thankful

The other day we had lunch due to our participation in our DR Project which was sign off by the customer. It was kind of celebration lunch as the programmers on my side are always greedy. We had a lot to eat. The best part is that we had ABC and check out this conversation (I was sitting far away)

Lionel : Eric, ABC don't have icecream meh?
JT : Go buy yourself la. Why so greedy?
Eric : Don't have
Lionel : Then use the budge to go and buy la.


Honest, the team head which is Lionel is one of the most blardy cheapo guy at my side. When there is food the way they eat is like 100 years never eat. Really. I have no idea why. Maybe it is because they get to save a little. I still remember once when they bring back Hari Raya Food, they invited us over and they actually left us with left overs which is kind of disgusting. Anyway bottom line is if there is food or any other type of blessing, just be thankful as we get to eat for free and not ask so much.

Doing Stupid Job

I really am doing stupid work everyday. Really. Print logs which is empty, print logs with data, door access and etc. Not only that, we have to do that to comply to SAS70. If I look, nearly everyday I print nearly 100 over pages for nothing and the amount of time used to print all this stuff is too long.

The auditors are EY and to me EY auditor for SAS70 really sucks. The questions they ask shows that they are not that good and quite dumb. Even though you can answer them like 100 times the same thing they still can forget the answers that we gave them!

A lot of people told me to change my job and yeah I am going to give it a shot to change my job really soon.

I Got Another Book

After winning 1 book from IT Knowledge, I got my 2nd book from them on Oracle. Man they are really genuine. Unlike Chip when they told me they will contact me to give me my speakers which I will get for the letter of the month haven't turn up / out till today.

Anyway people keep on adoring Chip Magazine but to me there is nothing to shout about in their mag. I feel its class is not there but then again I shall not say too much. People still adore them. haha.

Can We Really Choose?

The other day this operator came out to my friend who is their boss and he told my friend he don't want to work with him as he is lazy. Who on earth can tell you who they want to work with and don't want to work with? I mean unless you are the boss then you can decide who you want to work and who you don't want to work with. Not only that, how can you complain that someone is lazy when you too always love to take MC and EL anytime you want? Sometimes people are weird. Really.

Desa Park City

Was in Desa Park City again the other day with my friend for dinner. The place is not bad. Ate Japanese food as my friend wanted to eat it. I don't have problem eating anything. But the mistake that I did was I ate too much rice at 8pm and I was to sleep by about 1030 and that the rice would not be able to digest on time. In the end we hang out at that shop till 1030pm and we headed back home.

Food there was not bad. As we sat outside, I was more worried mosquitoes will bite me more than anything else. But since I was wearing long pants I didn't feel anything and since we were sitting under the fan I guess the air will be circulated and maybe will push the mosquito away. This time we didn't walk the park as we ate and sat there and talk and shared our own theories that sounded correct to us.

Nah Not So Hadap

The other day I was invited to go for open house in KL but my friend and I decided not to go as it was raining, there were not many experience people in office and we are not so into eating that kind of food. So in the end we didn't go.

But one thing I know is that the whole set of pgmr from my side went and everyone went and those who nv do their project also went. Its like they so hadap to makan man. Really. When they get free food the way they eat is SCARRY.

But the boss in KL that invited us say will blacklist us as we didn't attend it for 2 years. To me it is just food, don't eat also nvm wan. But guess what? In the end the food also not enough.

Get Your Facts Right

The other day when I had to work at 6am thanks to compliance, this is what the programmer tell me.

PG: Since we need to work so early, you buy us breakfast la.
JT : Who need whose help now? I need to work to jz incase u guys create problem and u ask me buy breakfast? You buy for me la.
PG : Like that meh?
JT : Yeah, again who need whose help?
PG : But I got 3-1 coffee in my drawer
JT : I also got la.


I have to work early because of some people but they still expect me to buy them breakfast. Maybe I should eat breakfast infront of them then lets see how jealous they will be.

I Am Very Used To IT

After not having parents around me for sometime (when I was in Penang or they on holiday) I actually can and I am still alive. My parents do leave me quite often (poor me) and off they go to any land but that don't even bother me a single bit (really). I guess since I was young my sister and I were train to be alone without parents and it really brought us up to being independent and we can make sure the house is still on the correct side even though our parents are not around.

But the only issue is at times it can be heading home to an empty home with no 1 to talk too but to but only 1 way conversation (which is tv / radio to you) or maybe 2 ways (call someone thru hp, telephone/ skype / msn and etc).

Fix My Guitar

I fixed my guitar for rm183! MAJOR damage to my pocket. I send the guitar to fix in MM in SS2. How they charge me? It is as below

1. Professional Services - Rm 75
2. Change Nut - Rm80
3. Strings - Rm28
   

Anyway the part I didn't really like was my guitar bag even though it was a cheap bag was torn. I guess moral of the story is don't give them your bag as they will spoil your bag. I am actually even wondering if I should have send my guitar to Guitar Store as changing every thing from Saddle, Nut, Bridge pins and string will cost only rm190+. I am not sure if they will add on professional services but if they don't, would it not be better if I change all??

In My Office

The other day 2 of the staff on shift had an argument. I guess that is why my friend got an sms. That guy was saying next time don't let the shift supervisor work with normal operator as he won't get to learn anything.

To me that is rubbish. In the 1st place, no 1 can tell you who they want or who they don't want to work with as working as a team, we will need to know how each other pattern of working is. But I have to admit, that some of those guys are not that good them self.

Not only that, there are some who work nearly more than 2 years still cannot get the job done and still need to call my friend for support. It is such an embarrassment in my opinion but yet they still can tell who they want and who they don't want to work with.

Topics Of Getting Married / GF

During the start of prayer conference, I was there early as church prepare dinner for those who help out. When I was there, this 2 uncle's who started to talk about bf/gf topic. Then there goes this uncle telling about this 40 year old story for the 3rd or 4th time that got me quite bored of it and there goes Uncle Peter saying I had no guts to find gf and etc and other stuff that I am choosy and etc.

But I was quite lucky that I had my friend there and I manage to go and talk to my friend to run away from the topic. I told my friend the story and my friend was quite shocked with some of the statements made by them and even asking me to go after a girl during worship time with a loud voice even though the girl is about 9-10 years younger than me. Anyway my friend told me to speak into their life but I rather "spit" into their life.

On Saturday evening when I was walking into church this Aunty called me and told me about my mum asking her to find a gf for me. She did Q&A with me on some stuff like my age and etc and she even told me at my age it is time to find a gf. I manage to play along as it is my skill to play along this type of stuff.


On Saturday night, my parents had to go out dinner with the visitors from church and on Sunday this is was what happen.

Mum : Their daughter very pretty wan.
JT : *had enough* So you want me to get married to them is it?
Mum : Nolar, but you can start smelling them
JT : They got land or not, if no land cannot
Mum : Wah where can find out like that wan.


Honest, sick of this type of questions. The other day I told my friend I will pickup any 1 and marry and get my parents off my back.

My Friend Got His Guitar

My friend finally got his guitar the other day in Klang. But the weird thing that I felt in the shop is they will only give discount on guitar and bag and the rest of the accessories they wont be giving any discount at all. Not only that, they say they will give my friend 1 pick but in the end they never give also. So to me that is a no no. You want to give but in the end you didn't give. Anyway to Heng Heng, don't worry pick can buy anytime if not use finger and play lor.

I'm Not A Pro

I brought up the topic of buying a new guitar with my sister and my thought about rotation guitar. Check out the conversation below.

JT : I want to get a new guitar so that my current guitar can last a little longer.
JM : Do you need to get such an expensive guitar?
JT : Nah thought of those less than 1K but made in China that sounds really good too.
K : Go and buy those rm200 guitar.
JT : Nah what for? Better don't buy. The sound not nice.
JM : But you are not professional (meaning music is not my main job)
JT : *No reply* (Should have told my sis her cam which is 5.5k is not worth coz she not pro too)

Anyway I don't know when I am getting a guitar. Just wait and see.

Rotation Of Guitar

I have a thought and the thought is this, which is to get another guitar ( not so high end). Reason for this is that I want to use it as a rotation guitar. Question is how many guitar do I have? I actually have 1 only and the other went to my sis house and I have my sister's practice guitar in my place but it is not so much of performance guitar.

Thought of getting those made in China guitars. See how it goes.

DUMC Prayer Conference

I Admit, I had no regrets attending this prayer conference! It was really good from the start which was Friday till Sunday. I have to say that every hour or second that I was there was really different. Friday was cool. Saturday was cool, Sunday was cool too.

The teachings, testimony were all so relevant to bring revival to ourself before revival can be at church then for the nation. Really thank God for good speakers like Pr Philip Lyn and Nancy and the others who gave their testimony too.

I guess one thing it thought me is that we can never be the same again anymore. We need to make the difference and being able to do that, we need to do what is necessary which is to make time and make room.

Waiter Kena Screw

The other day when I was having lunch in SS2, at a corner shop called Hainan Something (cannot remember name) there was this dude who was so piss off at the waiters. That shop had many many waiters yet they are freaking slow / not paying attention at customers. Oh yeah that guy shouted a lot of 4 letter words and even demanded to see their manager who is a merchant. But I don't blame that guy, as I have to admit the waiters there are really dumb.

Give an example is my food comes with ice cream and if you don't ask the waiter for your ice cream, there goes your ice cream. That is the same thing that happen to my friend a day before as he was there. He didn't get to eat his ice cream at all. This type of service cannot pakai. Really. If you are really good, you will even drop by after seeing the customer having done with their meal and ask if their ice cream can be serve or not.. Guess they don't have enough training..

Taylors Guitar

When Sidney Mohede was in DUMC for the worship conference, he used Taylor Guitar. I have to admit that guitar is so darn good. I believe the pickup of the guitar is so good that when he strums alone it is so clear and really nice to hear.

Oh yeah anyway out of topic a bit, Taylor 8 series cost about RM18K. A guitar that no 1 can afford to buy except if you are really rich dude. But if I am really rich I won't get an 18K guitar too. But if given a chance of discount more than 80% I might think about it :p

Missing Degree Days

When I was sending my friend back from ML wedding, my friend mention this

MF : I miss our degree studying days
JT : Total agree.
MF : Miss especially when we study together before exam
JT : Yeah I agree
MF : But end up most of the time talking about other things.
JT : Yeah its rojak mar studies and talking mar..

Really miss back school days. When you start working, you will not have time to catch up with your friends unless someone got married. Not only that, at times when you have gathering, the full force won't turn up as they will be busy with their own events. But I guess if got a chance to go, just go and meet up with your friends. It will be fun. Trust me

To Close For Comfort

My boss have been paying my lunch too often now and I am now even worried. Not only that, my friend and I really started to wonder why our boss kept on buying us lunchy. For me I had all the lunch package

4. Tim Sum in DJ

Yeah and the pricing if you really ate all the 3 on top will COST U ALOT. Now my office mate and me started to wonder if our boss got increment and we wont be getting ours..hmmmmmmmm...........something to ponder upon............

After Formatting

The other day I formatted my computer at home as it was really slow on start up due to a game that I installed. But after formatting the computer and reinstalling it, startup is really fast, but when I want to shutdown it is so SLOW! Wahlah. I have no idea why is it like that either. Wonder if I fill up my pc with many programs? Nah I don't. Just install what I need like Office, Reader, 7Zip, MSN and YM...Maybe time to do some tweaking :P

Getting Married

After ML wedding, my friends (own classmates) have been poking one another on when we will be getting married. I believe most of my set of classmates are still single. Not only that, some wonder when they will get their bf/gf. But the trend that I see now is now people are taking their time to even find bf/gf (my theory). At the same time I have many people who are worried (especially girls) especially those who are getting older.

The uncle that kept on reminding me that I should get a gf keep on telling me that the face is not important but it is the heart which I agree. So how? I also don't know la..hahaha

Now You Regret?

The other time when there is this PM who had nothing to do as she just completed all her projects wanted to come and audit DC. So after that she told my boss that the Policy should all be inside the ISP and I told my boss that some stuff still be stand alone to look stronger by itself and by doing that we don't need to reference here and there which can be messy.

But my boss opt to follow that PM way and guess what? When it came to our new project launch, we had some problems. Most of the PnP can be considered not valid as it is not combined into 1. To be able to give the customers new set I will need to correct the other set before giving it to the customers.

I guess we don't really need to listen to people every time they tell us to do something. If we keep on following there will be no end to changes. I too believe at times we will need to stand firm on what we are doing and yet we still can listen to ideas that are provided by people.

Testing Guitar

The other day I went to MM to test guitar with my friend who wanted to learn guitar too. Man I have to say that China made guitar with weird brand names are not bad either. Some of the guitars I try sounded really round and 1 of it really got my attention. The sales dude told me that it sounded quite near Martin Guitars. But the only issue is how long will those type of guitar's last? Anyway they are sold a lot cheaper and my bet is they are really worth for money to buy. Maybe I should get another guitar one day too as it is really more affordable compared to other power brand names....

ML Wedding

18th September was my classmate wedding. It was held in Wisma LYL in the restaurant there. But the highlight of the night was more of gathering than anything else. My table was made out of my own class which we contributed to 5 people and the other's were also from the same course just that they were different class. Before the start of dinner, I called another of my classmate who was not invited for the dinner for tea. After makan we headed back to Tmn Paramount mamak for tea.

I guess it was worth while for tea as some of my classmates haven't seen each other for more than 3 years. During tea we talk so much of stuff and honest I think the amount of time we had with each other was really short as it was really late and I had to send my friends back to KL.

Person: I only want vegetables (telling me in 1 kind of tone with 1 type of look)
Jason : Vege and meat I guess. Why don't you come and take a look? If you don't want is ok.


Anyway there were 2 of them and 1 of them followed me and while the other just stayed there. I mean if you don't want meat just ignore the meat and eat the vege. I guess people are not thankful at all if given a free meal man. I am not sure if what happen to the last plate as I believe only 1 plate was taken.
