Oh no!!!

Oh boy, when I went for my meeting today, my boss told us that we will have to do rotate as we have to do overnight once again. But the overnight wont be that many hours. But oh no....just when I thought my overnight days is OVER...... But this overnight is like starting from 12am till maybe max 2am as we have to do full backup or maybe partial backup. But the most important thing is when we are doing the backup there wont be any MSG on the backup if not it will take more time to fix it.

There are so many things in my head now. Have to do the policy + procedure, have to make sure the place is ready and tidy, learn iseries, do other projects and many more other stuff. But I believe I have a lot of things to learn when I am here and I will want to build up this DC with my DC manager to make it one of the best DC that we have done together. So Mr DC MGR, we are going to do the PKL job and it will really look good in our resume next time :P

But Before That, I will Cry 1st Due To OVERNIGHT :P

Feeling Tired

I don't really know what on earth is wrong with me last 2 days. Really tired last couple of days. Ok I have to say I slept late on Sunday which is at 1130pm. I did get my noon nap and wanted to go for my exercise but due to thunder and dark clouds I could not go for my run in Bkt Kiara. Was extremely tired on Monday and today in office. Even my boss know I was extremely tired coz he was tired too :P

Today I came home and manage to catch around 1 half hours of nap. When I woke up I really feel good. I wish my office had those drinking vending machines to come in really soon with biscuits or other snacks so that I will be well entertain when I am working.

Work so far is good, learn more detail about the as400 system administration. I wish to be strong in both security and at least know the as400 system administration in more detail so I can sell myself even more. So in advance thanks Mr DC Manger :)

Last Sunday Makan

Last Sunday I had buffet dinner in Tropicana. I joined my parents CG for the makan session. It was really good food that I ate there. Normal food I wont touch so much and I would only go for food that is really expensive. Drank many cups of watermelon juice, had steamboat (focus on seafood like bamboo lala, prawns, sotong), spaghetti, curry mutton, grilled mutton, grilled chicken wings, grilled lamb, grilled prawns, sotong ball, teh tarik, Ice kacang and many more. I guess the most important thing is I had a good time chatting with the adults and Allan and Jaime. So theory is

Food Was Good
+
Chit Chat Session Was Good
+
God Is Always Good

I Miss I Miss I Miss

One Thing That I truly miss is this, doing illegal things. Yeah you heard it right, illegal things. There are so many illegal things that I could do before and I am not able to do it now. Some of the things are really interesting to do. Being a SA before is a real eye opener for me to know my do and don't in the company but for me it is exceptional as the don't I still could do. I guess you all can say it is unfair but hey we are the SA and we have double standards :P

Me and My New Work

I have to say I am really blessed with this new job so far. Really I have to thank God for this work as I get to go home early nearly everyday. I don't need to do OT at all. At times the max that I go home is around 645pm. But the thing is after you start to go home early, you will feel weird as there is still so much time left in the whole day. It actually takes me around 15mins to get to my office and around 20minutes to get back from office.

Not only that, there is only 2 people in where I work which is good stuff too but when the task comes, there are only 2 people to do it which is cleaning up the place, running around to clients side and many other stuff which can be quite tiring at times. Most of the time when we are in the DC we play 'cyberwar' which is a new term used by me and Mr Ng :P It is really fun to work back with him in the DC.

I can say today I was double bless as we had lunch covered by our boss as we had to attend a meeting at KPMG tower today and after that we went for a walk in 1U coz our boss told us to walk around before going back to office. Honest I was truly shocked when I heard what he said. And yeah we did walk around 1U for a while before we headed back to our main office. So far my work is GREAT and I believe it will be greater when I have more stuff to learn.

A Message by George Carlin

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, becau se that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

RESULTS....

TYPE A
Shy, a bit of an introvert. You are more stubborn and like to stay alone quietly at home. To you, talking to strangers is a hard thing so you have not much friends. But you will still have some soulmates. You need to treasure people who care and love you. You are more interested in your own matters, you will try your very best to achieve your target. But you can't do everything alone, and just depend on yourself, learn to open up and accept other opinions. Try to get along with different people.

TYPE B
You are a more active person, drawing a clear line between happiness and unhappiness. You are more quick-tempered. If you encounter things you like, you will do it without second thought. But once you encounter things that you hate, you will wish to get out of it as soon as possible. As you are a person of your own views, the friends you tend to have will be of the same pattern. But once good friends, you will understand them a lot and go all the way to help then. Friends are very dependent on you. As you are too emotional, you may make a storm out of a teacup with your friends. You must learn to do things in order and not give up easily. You can try making friends with those you don't think you can get along with, don't stick with the same category. This will make you more popular and charming.

TYPE C
Gentle like a lamb. You have a high level of adaptance power, easy to get along with people. Very popular in social life but seems that no one will talk bad about you. You hate to have conflicts with people so you always try to adapt to everyone. You treat every person differently. To look at the bright side, you adapt easily. But to look at the dark side, you lack of character, although you are one big nice guy but you lack of charm. On the surface, you have a lot of friends but once you have troubles, you lack of soulmates to help you around. You must try to express yourself more and be more decisive. In this way, you can understand yourself more.

TYPE D
You are stubborn, like to go in circles and don't get to the point. Once you decide on something, no one can change your mind. You are a good leader in a group so you win a lot of trust from your friends. But as you are too persistant on your own thinking, you neglect other people's suggestions therefore you can easily make enemies. Although it is good to maintain your own character but it doesn't mean you totally ignore other people's thoughts and feelings. You will let people think you are hard to handle and you will lose friends gradually and may end up alone. You need to learn to accept other people's opinion. This will make your social circle bigger and you will understand yourself better

Tapping

Trying something new on my guitar which is one of my favourite way of playing guitar. Its more for rock and it is called tapping. But boy it is really hard. Still trying to get my fingers to be able to do what people can do. One of those who are really powerful in tapping is Steve Vai. Most of the rock guitarist are able to do tapping so easily. But practice makes perfect so stay tune :)

Credit Card Scam

SCENE 1.
This is a new one.

People sure stay busy trying to cheat us, don't they?

A friend went to the local gym and placed his belongings in the locker.
After the workout and a shower, he came out, saw the locker open, and thought to himself, 'Funny, I thought I locked the locker.

Hmm, 'He dressed and just flipped the wallet to make sure all was in order.

Everything looked okay - all cards were in place.

A few weeks later his credit card bill came - a whooping bill of $14,000!

He called the credit card company and started yelling at them, saying that he did not make the transactions.

Customer care personnel verified that there was no Mistake in the system and asked if his card had been stolen.

'No,' he said, but then took out his wallet, pulled out the credit card, and yep - you guessed it - a switch had been made.

An expired similar credit card from the same bank was in the wallet.

The thief broke into his locker at the gym and switched cards.

Verdict: The credit card issuer said since he did not report the card missing earlier, he would have to pay the amount owed to them.

How much did he have to pay for items he did not buy?

$9,000! Why were there no calls made to verify the amount swiped?

Small amounts rarely trigger a 'warning bell' with some credit card companies.

It just so happens that all the small amounts added up to big one!

SCENE 2.

A man at a local restaurant paid for his meal with his credit card.

The bill for the meal came, he signed it,and the waitress folded the receipt and passed the credit card along.

Usually, he would just take it and place it in his wallet or pocket. Funny enough, though, he actually took a look at the card and, lo and behold, it was the expired card of another person.

He called the waitress and she looked perplexed.

She took it back, apologized, and hurried back to the counter under the watchful eye of the man.

All the waitress did while walking to the counter was wave the wrong expired card to the counter cashier, and the counter cashier immediately looked down and took out the real card.

No exchange of words --- nothing! She took it and came back to the man with an apology.

Verdict:

Make sure the credit cards in your wallet are yours.

Check the name on the card every time you sign for something and/or the card is taken away for even a short period of time.

Many people just take back the credit card without even looking at it, 'assuming' that it has to be theirs.

FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DEVELOP THE HABIT OF CHECKING YOUR CREDIT CARD EACH TIME IT IS RETURNED TO YOU AFTER A TRANSACTION!

SCENE 3:

Yesterday I went into a pizza restaurant to pick up an order that I had called in.

I paid by using my Visa Check Card which, of course, is linked directly to my checking account.

The young man behind the counter took my card, swiped it, then laid it on the counter as he waited for the approval, which is pretty standard procedure.

While he waited, he picked up his cell phone and started dialing.

I noticed the phone because it is the same model I have, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then I heard a click that sounded like my phone sounds when I take a picture.

He then gave me back my card but kept the phone in his hand as if he was still pressing buttons.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking: I wonder what he is taking a picture of, oblivious to what was really going on.

It then dawned on me: the only thing there was my credit card, so now I'm paying close attention to what he is doing.

He set his phone on the counter, leaving it open.

About five seconds later, I heard the chime that tells you that the picture has been saved.

Now I'm standing there struggling with the fact that this boy just took a picture of my credit card.

Yes, he played it off well, because had we not had the same kind of phone, I probably would never have known what happened.

Needless to say, I immediately canceled that card as I was walking out of the pizza parlor.

All I am saying is, be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Whenever you are using your credit card take caution and don't be careless.

Notice who is standing near you and what they are doing when you use your card.

Be aware of phones, because many have a camera phone these days.

When you are in a restaurant and the waiter/waitress brings your card and receipt for you to sign, make sure you scratch the number off.

Some restaurants are using only the last four digits, but a lot of them are still putting the whole thing on there.

I have already been a victim of credit card fraud and, believe me, it is not fun. The truth is that they can get you even when you are careful, but don't make it easy for them.

Wood Carving

After I wash my car, I came in and found this 2 wood carvings on my table. Asked my dad where it came from and he told me it is carved by an orang asli who does that for a living and I was shocked coz the item that you see is carved SO WELL. Since I don't have a digital cam, I use my camcorder to take the picture and seriously I really have lighting problem. Anyway there are messages on the carvings which is from the bible.

Farewell Part 2

Just an update of my farewell.

Thursday will be another lunch with BOG people. No certain plans have been made yet for Thrusday. Lunch was in Sekawan that day.

Friday will be lunch with marketing department. I believe they want to bring me out of Aeon to eat as they told me they need at least 1 and half hours on Friday. So where are we heading? Stay tune for more. Yen brought me out for lunch in a place I never existed. I thought it was a pub, but it is a pub at night. Food was good, environment was nice too. Lunch was nearly 2 hours that day as it was my first time having lunch with her and we chatted a lot about company and other stuff. Thanks lady for lunch :)

Next Monday it will be on Shamsher and I believe Kong Wan Yee. Where too? In the end we ate meet ball noodles. This time we had CY Lim to join us. Lunch was quite some time too. Around 1 half hours. On that day I took halfday MC as the insect bite my eye on Saturday cause me to not be able to work nicely. After lunch I went to get my switch and thumb drive from Lowyat as my switch got fried. Went home and it was nearly 4pm.

Thursday will be with BOG once again. Where where? Thursday we had lunch at 1 cafe and I could eat anything I want. Ate Japanese food ordered by Rachel. Thanks BOG for lunch.

Friday will be with Finance, HR and MIS. Where too? In the end it was Finance and Legal and we headed to Pavillion to eat. I have to say it is a big place to be in. There are a lot of food choices to choose from. I ate Duck Rice for my last farewell.

MIS actually wanted to bring me out for lunch on Friday or Saturday, but I was fully book and Saturday I decided not to work as I will be starting my new work on Monday. I don't mind even if they forgot my last day as everyone is busy with their own schedule.

Once again a special thanks to everyone who made my farewell possible. Even though it was simple food, I thank you for farewell and the most important I want to thank you guys for the time that we spend talking during that time. Thanks to all once again. Take care

OUT of AEON

Friday was my last day in AEON. Happy to be out? Yes and No. Well honest I miss my dudes there. They are like my best friends and they are they have the same mindset as me and we are willing to go all the way to help out people. But I guess now things are different. I will be stuck in the datacenter. Things will now change a lot as in the datacenter is only 2 people. I wish it will be more so it will be more happening place :P

Those of you still in AEON, if you are not happy leave and find another job. Really. I know some of you were cheated when you all came in as they promise you some post. But guess what, they did that is coz they don't have enough workers there.

As for my dudes who are there, all the best as you all are the fresh blood to take over all the systems. Don't worry about the rest of them as most of them don't know much of the systems. Do what you want.

Company Annual Dinner

Company Annual Dinner was In MO on 1st of March. This year I decided to work on that Saturday as I could just hit the road from MO after work. It was raining CATS AND DOGS when I went to get my car. Suddenly the sky was so dark at around 5pm+ and the best part is I don't really know how to go to MO from my place but in the end we manage to find our way there. Food was better than last year and this year I didn't get my lucky draw as I believe since last year I manage to get it, this year let it be for someone else. Below are some pictures of the event. Theme this year was "High School Musical"

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS + LIVER DAMAGE

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing
malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air
decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain
efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the
death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and
decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of
the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may
cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage are:

1.
Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2.
Not urinating in the morning.
3.
Too much eating.
4.
Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6.
Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring , and artificial
sweetener.

7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible
reduce cooking oil use
when frying, which includes even the best cooking
oils like olive oil. Do not
consume fried foods when you are tired,
except if the body is very fit.
8.
Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished
in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt
a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time
condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary
chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Because :

Evening at 9 - 11
PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals
(detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes).
This time duration should
be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in
an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their
homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1 am :
is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should
be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3 am :
detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep
sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5 am :

detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be
a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process
had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am :

detoxification in the colon,
you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9 am :
absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30 am , for those who are
sick. Breakfast before 7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those
who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits,
and it is still better to
eat breakfast late until 9 - 10 am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to
4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow
produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Mixed Feelings

As today is my 2nd last day, I am really happy. But when I was walking to the LRT with a friend and we were talking about me leaving and etc, I was full of Joy, but once my friend went to STAR LRT, my mind started to hit a low. The 1st thing that came into my head was I am going to truly miss my friends that I made in AEON and those who really I help out during my time there. Even when I was eating dinner, their faces flash thru my mind and it is making me feel sad. This was exactly what happen when I left my part time job last time. But I will never forget them. I would like to say a special thanks to those who were part of my life in AEON. I will list as many of you down here by following branches. Thanks for being my friends.

Held

Since I have been quite "HARDWORKING" in office, I decided to come home at 6pm today. Actually I have been doing that for the last couple of days. After dinner I decided to listen to the new songs that I have and while working on WOW 2007 a song suddenly caught my ear. It is tune that caught my ear and like usual me, I will find the lyrics after that. This song is called Held by Natalie Grant.

Two months is too little.
They let him go.
They had no sudden healing.
To think that providence would
Take a child from his mother while she prays
Is appalling.

Who told us we’d be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
We’re asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
It’s unfair.

Chorus:
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held.

This hand is bitterness.
We want to taste it, let the hatred numb our sorrow.
The wise hands opens slowly to lillys of the valley and tomorrow.

Bridge:
If hope is born of suffering.
If this is only the beginning.
Can we not wait for one hour watching for our Savior?

All I can say is ponder on the lyrics as it is really good. If you really want to know how the tune goes, let me know.

Farewell Farewell

I really thank God that he has bless me nearly everyday as I have only 2 weeks left in AEON. Since last Friday I started to have farewell by different departments. Last Friday was with marketing people in yong tau foo and a big group of them join the farewell. I believe lunch that day was paid by Alice. Thanks maam!!!

But I have to say the place was really hot. I didn't have a farewell yesterday but it was good to have some time chatting with different people from different department. Lunch was good yesterday too but I didn't eat enough and I had to get tea at around 4pm :P

Today was another farewell for me by MIS BISS team. Thanks Sue for the lunch. Those who went for the lunch was Lay Bun, Sue and Shirley and I was the only guy (coz the rest of them eat already) and we ate chicken rice.

Thursday will be another lunch with BOG people. No certain plans have been made yet for Thrusday.

Friday will be lunch with marketing department. I believe they want to bring me out of Aeon to eat as they told me they need at least 1 and half hours on Friday. So where are we heading? Stay tune for more.

Next Monday it will be on Shamsher and I believe Kong Wan Yee. Where too? Stay tune :P

Thursday will be with BOG once again. Where where? Don't know yet

Friday will be with Finance, HR and MIS. Where too? Don't know also :P

I don't think MIS department will get to bring me out on any official farewell as you all can see my dates are all taken.

A friend told me this, the reason why I have so many farewell is because people recognize what I have done for them. Another friend told me that they will miss my services (support) when I am no longer there. Another friend told me why people willing to pay for me is because I am very kind heart.

I believe when I leave I will leave a big gap in MIS as most of the things I know. But since they didn't treat me well I think the best is to leave and move on my future to some other place. To all my friends who are taking me out on lunch or even dinner, thanks and I appreciate it a lot. I wish that I will be able to do more for you all before I go.

You Are Faitful

I recently bought 4 Cd's. Actually got 3 and 1 more was bought by my dad. Anyway the albums that I got was priced quite well. I bought 3 hillsong cd which cost me rm75 (Saviour King, All of The Above and Hillsong Kids Supernatural) and Trueworshippers All Things New. I have to say, Trueworshippers album is really nice as it is a different type of song all together. It is BM and English together in this album. Most of the songs are really nice and they have strong vocals.

But there is a song that really caught my ears and it is from Saviour King and it is called You Are Faithful. This song is really true that God is really faithful to us forever. When I heard it the 1st time I was like wow nice tune and I replayed back and heard the word "You are Faithful" and I decided to check out the lyrics which is as below. Lord I really thank you for being Faithful to us all the time even though we are naughty, we hitting good times or even hitting bad times you will always be faithful to us.

Lord of all the earth
How you care for me
You have made me
You will save and carry me always

Chorus:
You are faithful
You are Faithful
You are faithful
Your Joy is my Strength

Lord You are my guide
I rely on you
I put my hope in things not see
Your promises all true

Bridge:
Always you're with me
Your hand will lead me
My Trust is in Name
Always you're with me
Your hand will lead me
My trust is in your name
