History Made
Today my company made history. 1st time in my life after nearly 4 months working here we didnt restart the print server. Is it a good sign for a long run? Well I don't know. Stay tune to find out more. The only thing that hang was the email server. The other incident was the server room was double lock. We had to get a locksmith to open the door. TO open the door and change the lock it cost nearly rm120. Boy I wish I was a locksmith. Just go opening people's door when they forget their keys and charge them rm100. If I can even find 20 customers a day, I will get more than what I am earning now.
Work has been tough for the last 1 week. I am still rushing to do a lot of final touches before the BNM come and audit us. The only sad back is the Application team is not doing their part at all. They haven't even given me their part. Actually it is not really my fault or it is not my fault if I don't finish the document on time. My boss has been reminding them over and over again on how important to finish the document and pass it to me but till today I get nothing.
Easter + Good Friday was from Friday till Sunday. During this time I was reminded a lot of what God has done for me. Not only that, God died for our sins that is why I posted the song "At The Cross".
Yesterday I went back to work for a while and during that while I manage to contact some of my friends who I haven't talk to for a long time. Thank God for free phone calls from office. Since office don't pay us that well, we need to let office spend or pay on other stuff :P

Tell u something. Deadline doesnt work tat effective for the company. Donno bout ur side, but for our side, we have to be pushed at least three times in order to submit something to ur side coz ur side juz demand too much...they're thinking we have nothing better to do than sending them this and tat report!! So, one thing we practice is tat if they want something from us, let them wait and we'll only do tat one we reached our final task :) but tats juz applicable for some stuff..of course if tats urgent, we know wat to do lar...:)
Wat did u say? Free call? Company has to pay in some other way? tats interesting. I'll quote tat phrase :) how bout letting them to increase our annual staff incentive?
but in HQ it does ler especially those who are in project base like me.and at times like those ISO stuff i don't really bother as to me it is not important.
u knw HR lost all the JD of MIS? and u kwn who has to redo?me lor.aih u see unnecessary work is added into my account all the time.
oh yeah i have been alot lazy these 2 days,coz my direct is not around,but i still got work at a slower pace,chat more and still work...
oh yeah to let u knw,the company is going to release some contract staff really soon as they are not earning as much as they were before.
U know wat..I found out tat lots of staff dont like HR. I dont really know why coz tats the department tat i least contacted...but one thing to comment on them, they go back REALLY on time...juz like Finance..
Finance dont really go back on time ler.but other dept like CMG or etc do go back on time.there is some dept tat goes back early like on 6sharp.
the reason is because they say work extra no overtime so why bother working?
HR is freaking lazy ler...u kwn i need 2 get the list of staff that resign frm the company from them.actually it is their work to send the list to us so that we can bar their windows and as400 id...i still remember the 1st time i came in,they gave me 6 months of id to be bar...its madness...see how lazy some ppl is???
hmm...yeah..CMG wis not paid for OT...but they get incentive.
As for HR...6 months?? I'll expect 2 years if u didnt tell me coz it takes them few months to prepare my staff card!!
yeah u knw wat?when i came in and around few weeks later i got my card and those staff who has been there longer than me not yet even get their card.they say they process following batches....
and now the latest issue is i am trying to get my name card printed,but since the IT dept dont like to put like officer, senior officer, they will take longer time to process it as it is left pending...not only that, stationaries take damm long to come too......
yeah cmg get incentive,but that depends on how hard u work rite?i dont really know cmg dept that well...
